Two accounts, both owned by the same person.
Can I transfer a character from account A to account B without quitting my current corp and joining a NPC corp?
This would not be a sale or anything, just wanting to move a character to a dif account that I own

Quitting corp is a rule for selling pilots only as far as I am aware. I have transferred characters between my own accounts without quitting corp. I believe it has to do with the new owner passing themselves off as the old owner and stealing corp assets or something.
Keep in mind that most of the rules for selling a toon do not apply when you're transferring. Selling is a different beasty.

Pretty sure to transfer a character to any account, yours or not it has to be in an NPC corp.
You can try, but im 99.9% sure it wont let you.

hmm, guess I'll find out when I try it in a week or so.
Ideally we could get some ccp posted clarification if any of you folks are not too busy. Appreciate it.

Quote: 3. Why does my character have to be in an NPC corporation to be transferred?
Being in a player corporation is a serious commitment. There is no way for CCP to verify that you are transferring your character with the consent of your fellow corporation members. To transfer such a character you need to first resign from your corporation, after the transfer the character can reapply for the corporation and the corpmates then have the option of evaluating if they choose to reaccept the character under the changed circumstances.
This in no way addresses a character owned by the same individual, this is more about "identity theft" issues, which is not the case.
Thank you for linking that though, I had not seen it previously.
