1/3 shield/armor/hull on our one of two main bships just cause of accidental move???

Rules are simple, don't move once you're in the arena.
Move, and you get penalised.

I bet those 30 metres he moved really decided the outcome of the fight, right right? And taking 2/3 of hps of a bship didnt shift the outcome at all ^_^ trolololo

I would be surprised if CCP had taken a gang-forming bship to 1/3 hp, yes, but I wouldnt shout about it, since I dont really care, but here I care. Failed troll. Next.

Isnt it half shield/armor/structure for first movement?
2nd movement it looked like they took half of what was left and he was at 25%(a fourth / one quarter) shield/armor/structure

From what i remember from the 2007 tourney i was in, it was 1/2 of everything each infringement of moving before the countdown completed, rules even then were quite clear

they moved on purpose, it was a trap to make the enemy engage the bhaal first.

Pretty much, judging by how quick he regained his armor I'd say it was zero buffer huge resist fit, and getting penalized on purpose to draw fire on the bait.
