Hello all.
during downtime it looks like some reactors don't produce the expected amount and may actually loose a cycle during DT. i calculated exact amount needed to be produced by one advanced reactor to make the next cycle complete in the high-tech reactor (one material was too little of).
this should have completed during DT but i never got any material from the advanced reactor so now i'm missing one batch of viral agent.
anyone else seen this behavior?

there is more bugs, time left on extractors keeps resetting at DT. but i don't mind :)
that explains why i haven't had to do a new survey with the extractors yet since the release of PI.

All that missing material seems to get transformed into oxygen and stuffed into my PCCs. -------- All I want is a better mankind.

I have the same problem. I built 2 production chains p1-p4 in my colony and loaded it with needed amount of resourses. But advanced reactors which produce p2 from p1 in the first chain lost resourses needed for 1 cycle but the second chain is ok.

I dropped 18 units of synthetic synapses on a planet, 6 went into the high tech factory, which started up, 6 went into its buffer, and 6 went.... nowhere. They are just gone. This happened right away.
Then I checked the PI network 8 hours later, just after DT, and all the synthetic synapses had been used, but only 1 P4 item had been produced. Both cycles should have completed prior to DT.
I wonder if this is related to my road to the high tech extractor being at 85% of capacity, and the game tried to push more down it than that, sees the overload, and drops stuff into oblivion.

Edited by: TLWE on 13/06/2010 13:50:50 This is NOT DT issue. Some #ú$Ç! started this rumor on singularity test server and it is pesting air around for no reason. This is unfinished transport bug.
Exactly the very same when you try to transport 1040 units of bacterias and nice lady in custom office voices her surprise you brought with you only 1020 units. Then you make partial move of 1020 bacterias out of planet and after confirming move you notice with same surprise as lady in custom office that these 20 units has been stolen from your warehouse by workers on the planet. What these workers need these bacterias for? Bacteria soup? Are they not payed enough already? I do not wish drive Chinese slave factory on any of our proud Minmatar planets, where the best payed worker is director who gets just bellow what we would considered the minimal basic wages. I wonder bacteria soup is really so good?

So that's why there are cybernetic zombies running about my factory! Workers stole my synthetic synapses and tried to augment themselves!
And I agree: all lost material seems to have occurred before DT. This bug does not require DT.

Having a similar bug myself. I watched a tier 4 sterile conduit production start and the sterile conduit WAS routed to my launch pad. When I logged in after some sleep and down time, the sterile conduit job was way past finished yet it produced nothing. Not only that but 2 routes on an entire different planet were messed up. The routes went thru my launchpad to the next step (tier 3 production) yet the items did not transfer thru as routed, they instead stopped at the launchpad and did not continue the process. Its bad enough we are trying to break even, then to suffer such bugs? CCP FIX IT Never Gonna Give You Up.... |

I have already open petition in ITEMS&ASSETS about this bug for at last 4 days now I believe. No GM answered it as yet. I bet they are too busy boozing and partying there in Reykjavik. -- B=g, Honor, Nar=d. Semper Fidelis. Nec Hercules Contra Plures. |

i believe part of the problem is that when you change the schematic in a reactor old routes to/from that reactor does not get removed completely.
in my case i had one reactor with an incoming route of viral agent that it did not need and i believe this is where my carefully calculated amount of viral agent got eaten up. i believe this is the cause of at least one bug.

I had wondered the same thing. I have a utility factory on one of my planets (I change it's schematic often to process whatever p1 that I have an oversupply of) and I noticed the old routes do not get cleared out. I could see this causing some issues with routing materials.

I posted this problem on the test server forum at least a month ago. Back then it always happened.
I checked this the other day while building Wetwire Mainframes. When building the Biotech research reports, I put 360 Nanites, Livestock, construction blocks into the Spaceport. linked them sequentially to 5 processors that were already configured and routed, and hit submit. All processors started and when I returned there were 108 finished product.
I thought, OK! they fixed it.
Then I put 360 synthetic Oils and Fertilizers in the spaceport, and the stuff to make 360 test cultures. I started the test cultures and when enough were in the silo, I routed them all to the Advanced processors making the Cryoprotectant solution. When I returned I only had 12 completed. The 2 processors making cryoprotectant were full except missing 9 total test cultures. and a cycle's worth was totally missing.
So can anyone confirm this bug happens only when 1 or more advanced processor component comes from another advanced processor? M

I think I saw exactly this, I had enough supercomputers to make half a dozen wetware mainframes, I build a chain on a planet to make the cryoprotectant solution and biotech research reports and after letting it run I ended up with all my supercomputers vanishing and 1 wetware mainframe. IÆve had this happen on a number of occasions and just thought it was me getting the figures wrong. Thanks for confirming IÆm not as daft as I thought after all.
Seems there are bugs and even bigger bugs that eat our goods lol.

there is more bugs. i had one hightech processor waiting for just one material, material arrived and it started it's cycle. i then went to the routes tab on the processor to remove input routes to prevent it from pulling in more material and hit submit.
then the reactor state reset to as if it never got the material that was missing to begin with and the material (10 units of viral agent) is gone, not in reactor or storage.
i've also seen that odd bug with customs office that others have reported, saying that the material is off by a cycle or two.

My viral agents have been getting produced and disappearing for two days now. They're nowhere in storage and my vaccine plant says they have none. I guess I'll just have to tear up the colony and see if that fixes it.

Same here, considering stopping with PI until its fixed properly. PI should never have been released with all these bugs, i'd rather have a stable working new feature even if it takes longer to release it and/or it getting delayed.
