I have some great responses from people I have scammed but they are full of vulgarities and I don't think I'm allowed to post chat logs. Just check here if you want:

This one guy tried to scam me, and didn't. Which was followed by years of not falling for scams.
It's all been very exciting.

Edited by: Dirk Magnum on 15/06/2010 22:47:33 So usually if you send one or two mil to those people who say they'll send 2x back or whatever, you'll get 2x back on your initial contribution as they try to sucker you in for more. Well one time I gave one of these scammers two mil and he didn't send any ISK back. I shall never forget this individual's name. It will forever be a part of my memories and I will violence his boat (surely purchased with scammed ISK) if I ever meet him. Curse you. Curse you CaldariCitizen234..... 546.... 34.... er...

I once got scammed out of 10 million ISK. I did about 600 million ISK worth of damage to the guy's corporation as a response.

I knew I was getting scammed but I went along with it because I'm a masochist and have issues and that. Afterwards I felt alive and invigorated, then I waited for the scam artist to make a mistake.
About 3 months later that same scammer made a cozy little corp for a few of his toons.

I once had a goonswarm member talk me in to joining his corp. He told me about all of the wonderful things I would see out in 0.0 and how much isk I would make. It sounded so good I could hardly wait but the 500M isk deposit was on my alt which had had its account laps because it was an off pay week. I asked if he could wait a couple of weeks but he said it was a once in a life time opportunity. After a bit of bargaining he loaned me a plex which I was going to use to re-activate my other account and then transfer 1B isk to him (the 500M isk deposit and then 500M isk for the plex). I forgot the guys name after that, but I later found out goonswarm recruiters are all scammers so I think that was a close call for me. (yeah I posted about this before but it never gets old)

We have been scammed as a corp once, by a long-time member who used to be a pretty cool guy. Until roughly a year in the corp when he decided he would brag about being a GM and could get us all banned, then ragequit and used a role to accept some contracts draining ISK from the corp wallet.
Scam wasn't a success since he did not have access to the Deliveries-hangar. He joined Goons afterward together with his supposed GM-girlfriend.

Scammers are killing Eve in my opinion. CCP really should deal with them once and for all.

I just got scammed out of two minutes and thirty seven seconds--the amount of time it took me to read this entire thread and post a response.

I may have been scammed recently by a corp. Still trying to work with their management to make things right, but it's hard to tell if they're sincerely working to make things right or just stringing me along hoping to get more out of me.
The scam was fairly simple. Contract scam basically. They advertised over and over, and it looked like a great deal, so I finally took the bait and accepted the contract... then I go to actually check what I bought and it's not quite as advertised.
Really shouldnt have been shocked, you know what they say about false advertising and a deal that sounds too good to be true.

I'm quite an influential individual, if you pay me %5 of what you lost, I will recoup it from said individuals for you.
