Isn't releasing the name of the player against the EULA? It is personal information.

I'm pretty sure you're correct, but then the guy is dead so I don't think he'll mind too much.

His family might.
Now while the intention of the post is noble; it cannot be ignored that there are some real ****s out there. Some of which who may not agree that a U.S. soldier dying in an American war is not such a bad thing.
So for the sake of his family, I suggest removing that link. It's unnecessary, most of us do not need to know his name. Knowing he was an Eve player and his in game name is enough.

My heart goes out to his family. I hope they are comforted by the fact he was serving his country, and I am grateful for his service.
Dont mind the obvious trolls that will be posting in here btw.

Considering this post was made to pay respect to a lost corp friend, the comments on here so far with 2 exceptions which are also paying tribute, and one offering some advice to The Animator, the rest are pretty disrespectful, if you cant advise, or pay your own tribute, then read and move on. And as for the person who said post the killmail?! WTF?! You need your bumps felt and u need to get the hell outta here!
Now to the matter at hand;
Droma, you were a good friend and fellow pilot. You gave your country your all, and for this you are a hero. God Bless you hun, you will be dearly missed by all whose lives you touched. x Rest well, dear friend. x

Disrespecting people over a game is fine. Disrespecting those that gave their lives serving their country is not.
War is one of the worse practices of the human race, yet warriors are some of the best people... because they are willing to sacrifice everything for what they believe in.

Time to play devils advocate.
Does that count for the people we're fighting against as well?
Being willing to die for what you believe in, doesn't make what you believe in right. It also doesn't make a person noble.
Suicide bombers are in fact the epitome of people willing to die for what they believe in.
Yes the soldiers may be noble for being willing to lay down their lives for what they believe in, but you know what else? They're trained and willing to kill people.
Killing is wrong, it doesn't matter the reason.
It's not fair to look at just one side of the coin.
I don't see anyone making a forum post for the men that this man may have killed, or participated in killing.

If there was no need for war, and we could all get along, be nice to one another, not try to take advantage of others, or dislike them for their religion, skin color, sex, sexual orientation, etc....
Humanity would simply die from shock.

Sader Rykane, while i may agree or disagree with some points, i think out of respect for this post you should take your discussion and arguements to another forum topic or make your own to discuss your idea's and i might join you. But even though there will be some trolls here, let's try to all extend our sympathy and just simply say
