I remember being part of the EC- Camp for the 6 days in a sniper moa back in the day. Was alot of fun. Remember G and IRON jumping into systems aswell despite being heavily outnumbered and system lag. Was good times.

Edited by: Koronos on 22/06/2010 17:07:20 Nice, had been a couple years since I watched that video, forgot how epic it was.
I still remember in Stain being amazed by the cohesion and organization of G, watching them drive full combat fleets accompanied by 4-5 freighters straight down the stain corridor to setup their staging areas was impressive stuff.

Agreed 'G' was awesome although i remember them with younger starstruck eyes when the North actually stood for some form of ideals,
cool days of 'G' and the 'IRON' of old going for a visit down south, BOB taking advantage of that and giving the pilots left behind a real hard time of it,
'G' returning and then some good fights all round, plenty of smack and forum fightin'
'BOB' returning to Delve sated with some fights :) all and all great fun.

My first real experience of "Proper" o.o combat was the G invasion of the south and damn, was it an eye opener to how things could be.
Participated in the EC- camp for days, despite having no clue what it was meant to achieve, we were just just told to assemble up north for a "big finale"...
o/ Salute to G and Iron, you guys were cool. |

theese convoys into esoteria and back with the empty freighters realy broke the will of most of the g pilots to continue the war. most ops consisted on escort duty for many hours a day, every day. if ascn area would have been closer the war might have endet different. on another note, i yet have to be member of a fleet again where discipline, target calling and other stuff was on par with g alliance gangs.
not all in g alliance was golden btw. the ce/oe - stv jealousy and later the ce - oe breakup were conflicts that later helped destroy d2 from the inside after g was dissolved. |

Was my 1st and fondest memories of mass fleet fights (SA-ASCN war) then these fights. Lag was ok and my Cerberus (then not a "recognised" good PvP ship) had a great time. G discipline was amazing - stayed up till 4am many nights. Also remember Arjun ferrying loads of my stuff in freighters - cheers m8 :)

I love that vid. It has to be one of my all time favourite Eve Vids. Why don't people make them like that any more? Now its all about kill 100's of ships with one faction ship. I want vids of old that actually showed what alliances were doing.
