Anyone experiencing major issues with the mail client since the patch?
after the patch i clicked on the mail icon and got this message - "There is something wrong with the mail cache files. Try clearing the mail cache from the ESC menu and check that the hard drive is not full."
tried clearing the mail cache from escape menu, same message. So i cleared all the caches from the escape menu, still no resolution to the problem.
did a manual clear of all cache files, folders and settings, mail still not working.
i then did a clean install of the eve client, and repatched - same issue, same message, cant access any incoming mails (if im getting any, dont know at this stage).
right onto the weird part...
i went onto my windows client, on a different partition, and had EXACTLY the same issues and messages - mail not working.
thought maybe a router (protocols) issue/firewall issue - so disabled all firewalls and changed to a different router. Still the same problems!
anyone else experiencing this since the patch yesterday?

Yes. I'm experiencing this one an alt on one of my account that has never received mail. The main which has quite a bit of mail is fine.

cleared things here too and no dice. It was giving me the error at first and then working. Now I get the error and it won't work at all.

Having mail issues here as well. I attempted to clear the mail cache via the ESC key, but it gives me the same error that I need to clear the mail cache.

started up a trial account to test the mac client, same problem as op. Now trying my main account [this one].

Likewise having this issue. It might have been there before but has definitely been a problem since Eve client crashed and corrupted all my preference files in the process. Cleaned all caches and removed all local files to no avail.

I've removed the entire game and files in the Library to do a complete and fresh install. After all that, I'm still getting the mail error. Anyone found a fix for this yet?

still waiting on response to petition, there's a patch due tomorrow so we'll see if that fixes it.

im also having this issue. cleared all cashe including the mail one and still nothing. i ve put in a claim but no word yet :(

Have completely removed client and all settings then reinstalled 1.0.3 from scratch. Still got the same problem.

still having the issue as well after this /.3 patch. issues didn't begin until the /.2 patch. i should also note that the client seems much more unstable and when it crashes it tends to reset all personal prefs. (bookmark folders, drone groups, window placement and stacks, screen res, ect.) the crashes im getting seem to be varied in degree. sometimes just bookmark folders will disappear and other times the entire client is reset even showing me the eve intro video upon restarting the client.

Apparently if you switch to your 'Noficications' tab and then back to your 'Mail' tab again, it should clear the problem.

We are still looking into this issue. For now the workaround is to open the ingame browser and use the eve mail in evegate. https://gate.eveonline.com/

I got this problem now. Clear the cache does not help. Delete the wole damn cache and settings folders neither. May i ask a question? No, im to tired to ask any question from you guys in CCP. Im tired. really. Every patch just cause new problems. And i dont think so its gonna change ever. This is the EVE-Online as it is. This the CCP as it is. Im tired to say bad language as well. No i dont want.

For me I noticed that my mailbox was very full. I accessed it as normal on my main account. Deleted all the old mails and then went to empty the trash. When I emptied the trash the server suddenly lost connection and freaked out. When I reset the client I was getting these errors. I have tried the reset cache from the esc menu that the game recommends and it doesn't work. I have tried to reset all the cache files and it doesn't fix it. I have deleted and reinstalled the client and it still doesn't work.
This error is also affecting my alt character as well. I have not been able to check if the problem would affect my account on another computer as I am the only one that I know in the area who plays.
Please fix this, as it is not an acceptable situation to be permanently relying on evegate for mail on a permanent basis. Also, please tell your GMs to feel free to at least acknowledge the petition that has been sitting in game with them for the last three days. It would make me feel like someone at least cared if the paying customer wasn't getting the best performance out of their product.

have the exact same problem ... already crashed 2 times with full client reset it's a pain in the *** to reset everything from game setting to window positions .... please resolve this problem soon Congratulations ... you r now reading my signature !! |

I run two accounts on my MBP, The one I use with my main works fine, the one for my alt has the same issue.
