Huh, I guess I need to try and get a refund for about half of the games I've bought over the past 20 years then. Thanks I guess, but you could've told me sooner.
id guess he also missed the greatness that is Portal.

There is killing in portal. Think of the Companion Cube! And even though GLaDOS isn't dead, you bloody well tried to kill her/it. _____________________________________ Haruhiist since December 2008

So Chribba, I've noticed that you've been a lot more active lately then in the past. Any specific reason for that?
More active as in more forum posts? Or something else.
But being summertime means less work at work and thus I can spend more time whoring the forums and in-game as for the time when I'm not at work - I have no life
That's what I meant. It's a little unusual to see you posting this much (relatively), so I was all :tinfoil:.

Good to know. Do you know what thread that was. I can't seem to find an old one that actually got some answers. Which is why I started this one. Thanks
I had no luck finding the specific thread I mentioned. It has been brought up in the Assembly Hall and got a page or two of support but that's about it. Given CCP's current issues with server lag and extended downtimes I'm not sure I'd trust them to implement a new security system without messing it up, anyway.

Edited by: Lothros Andastar on 05/07/2010 17:39:44 Here is a suggestion: Force everyone to have non-bruteforcable passwords (non bruteforcable in the next 50 years or so anyway).
There, sorted.
As for keyloggers, if you get one, you deserve it tbfh.

Miss out a security update. Forgotten to update Browser and Flash Player? Or just being subject to a new exploit that the software developer has not gotten around to fix yet and you have a problem.
Even if take a lot of security precautions it is still possible to get a keylogger on the machine.
But there is also the problem with cost. Since CCP has still not managed to find an acceptable shipping method for all non-US customers it is really a moot point.

If i get a keylogger, it isn't fishing for my Eve details. The only keyloggers that fish for eve details are ones you can easily avoid if you're smart enough. _____________________________________ Haruhiist since December 2008

Originally by: Viktor Fyretracker People hate WoW because it is the in thing to hate in MMORPG land. if some other game becomes bigger that will be the game to hate. its exactly like how you have that clan of Linux users that just automatically hates windows users.
Some people hate it because it lacks innovation. It's a highly polished, well put together high quality entertainment expereice. However it almost completely lacks any unique features. It's the the MMPOG version of the network sit-com. Utterly mass market and designed for the lowest common demoninator.
If you don't like it don't give them money but you can't argue with the validity of the business plan.

I'm sure a good many folks would. Especially if you could link one fob to more than one account. Or the cost for multiple ones was discounted.
