Recruitment happens all the time. there is a recruitment channel on these forums. There is a recruitment channel in game. Corps can post advertisments in game that you can freely search through and look for certain keytwords to narrow the choices to better suit your needs. Occasionally you'll even see poeple in local send out an advert.
Poeple tend to be a little anal retentive about ads being placed elsewhere but if you are looking for them they are everywhere. If you can't find them then you are doing it wrong. --------------------------------------------------- Have Rail's. Will travel.

ofc i know where they are, just rms used to have recruiters get people out of rms,it was mutualy benificial and would still be benifical.
So to be clear i am not asking for the recruiting forum or the recruiting channel,i know where they are.

Mostly the amount of alt characters means recruiting in the npc channels of any corp either school corp or not, means you're probably going to get more spies than usual.
I think this is why recruiting has dropped.
Either that, or you could direct them to the recruiting advertisements that are now in game, on I believe the Corp window. View The Eve Industrial Organiser Site

Edited by: Starbuck on 05/07/2010 22:22:28 So you know where the recruiters are but are intentionally not going to them? Then you are whining about not being able to find them?
Excuse us if we don't have the time to sit at whatever newbie station you happened to spawn in at and badger every single player who logs in.
Show a little initiative. At least then an prospective employer would know you actually want to be in a corp. I personaly don't want complete strangers I had to hunt down and hound into joining my corp. They probably wouldn't be verty productive members. --------------------------------------------------- Have Rail's. Will travel.

For sure and i do tell people where to find corps, and always recomend eve uni as a default answer to good corp, but i dont think a bit of pro-active recruiting will hurt as long as its not spammed.

I wasn't trolling you. I am not responsible for reality making you feel uncomforatable. There are three places new players can go to find Corps to join should they wish it. Why should people be fighitng for players who aparantly couldn't even be bothered to read tutorials that explain how to find a corp?
I know that information is in there because I find people in recruitment channel all the time that was instructed by the tutorial to be there. I welcome Rookies and happily help them. However, the whole new player experience has been streamlined and simplified to an extent that you would have to be braindead to not be able to figure out where the corps are. I will not log in a second account to sit in a random noob corp to find morons who either can't read or figure out simple EVE fucntions. --------------------------------------------------- Have Rail's. Ok that post was a far better tone(maybe still a littlelike ur talking in ur own front room, try and remember their no need to name call, let theagoodstatment work for you), and its not that i dont respet diverse opinoins, u make the valid point of "why" i think the reason is some corps could get a few extra players on their roster and rms can get the new play out quicker if a good recruiter inspires them.
Ofc i only speak for rms i am not sure how the other main npc corps go about their stuff

If you've been in RMS for some time, people might assume either that you want to stay there and so are not worth approaching, or that you are an alt, and therefore carry an increased security risk.
If you want to get recruited, you could either join the channels as stated above, or go looking for corps and speak to the people from the ones you want to join. There's also the advert system, though I find it's not that useful personally.

What have you done that's so noteworthy that would get you head hunted?
I've never seen nor heard of you so what have you got to offer that makes you worth the effort? When I'm spammed with a recruitment mail then I know they're desperate and my only reaction is to ponder whether it might be worth putting an alt in there to steal their stuff. |
