When in mission site and downtime comes and it disappears is this an intended part of the game? so making you unable to complete the mission

If you completed the mission objective, the mission will disappear at downtime. So if you "completed" the objective by destroying all the enemies but forgot to pick up a final mission item from a cargo container, that container might disappear and keep you from finishing up with the agent. If you did not complete the objectives per the journal entry, then the mission should reset at downtime (this is how folks farm missions, do part of it but let it reset each day). Missions normally expire after a week, so if that counter ran down, then the mission would disappear.

Missions (should) reset at downtime, unless you have completed all objectives. So you'll have to start over from the first gate, normally.

Edited by: Desmond Williams on 06/07/2010 18:03:11 Yet i did not complete the objective (killing all enemies) and the mission site disappeared and a gm refuses to respawn it/restart mission for me because it is an intended game mechaning for the site to disappear. But few weeks ago there was no problem resetting a mission so i could complete it.

this is a VERY easy fix if your mission has "gone" and is not completed.
leave system as in jump next door. and then slow boat back and jump back. your mission will spawn again

The important question is: is it marked as "completed" in your journal. If it is, then the GM is correct; if it isn't, then he's not. ùùù ôIf you're not willing to fight for what you have in ≡v≡à you don't deserve it, and you will lose it.ö ù Karath Piki |

Edited by: Devlyn McKhon on 07/07/2010 18:34:41 One of the things i do is use the missions details box, you can open this by opening your mission journal, right clicking the mission, and picking mission details. Have this open and minimized while runing the mission, when your objective has been compleated the details box will maximize indicating that the objective is compleat, then take a quick look and make shure weather its a straight kill mission or weather you need to bring some thing back with you, if you need an item, there will be a yellow circle next to it, showing that you stil dont have that item, its flaged compleat because whatever action was required to spawn said item has been compleated, so just make shure to pick it up, and you are good to go.
As was stated earler, not all missions are straight kill missions, there are some that dont require you to kill any thing at all to compleat them, and some where you only need to kill a single target, then they are compleat, using the details box is a good way to know when you have met all the objectives, and to be shure that you have any necesary items that are required to compleat the mission.
