well i was thinking of how we can make pilots have a serious reason to travel through eve universe....
i will explain my idea as much as my english allow me:)
lets say that u are ratting in an anomaly or exploring,belting doing mission or whatever... a pop up apears and says that u have a pirate named (redskull) between ur rats....u kill him and in hes loot u find him and take him as prissoner in ur cargo... then u check and see that there is an agent in the other side of eve universe that offers a bounty for hes head... u have 2 options...you are willing sto start an adventure for the bounty or you sell your prisonner to someone who is willing to finish the job...
you will tell me what if the station of the agent is not accesible to you... well i think it must be like an escalation or something....you willl make a small structure in space were the agent will be and the warp point will have only the person with the prissoner....so the only think that he ll have to do is reach the system with the agent...
other ideas....
bounties between 50-500 mill or so...depending on how rare this pirate is or how far u have to travel... time limit for the bounty....so you will have to hurry up...like 3-7 days or so... agents for pirates anywhere in eve universe...high-low and null sec...so sometimes you may have to travel in a completely hostile territory to finish the job...or you may need ur friends to come too...and share ur loot:)
thats my idea....i think that this may cause pilots to travel more at eve universe for money of course...and who knows maybe a new profesion:)
if anyone have any ideas to improve this im all ears....

Why? That sounds an awful lot like expeditions, but with the added hassle of worrying about who owns what stations so that you can dock up there. What exactly would it add to the game? There are already incentives towards moving around in the game, there's no need to force people to do so. |

We already have a reason to move around in EVE. It's called, you can't salvage sleeper wrecks in highsec, and you can't buy fuel blocks in w-space. |

I would say this would be the possibility if you join Concord Police as an officer.
New Missions: Bounty Hunting
Each level get harder to locate the guy...
1. You got a hit where the guy is located for a certain time he is there. So you go to "system" 2. Level 1 - 5 Mission depend how much probing skills are needed to scan him down. 3. You warp to him; he might have some buddies of his own that you have to kill aka henchmen. 4. Once you kill him you get his "corpse" and bring it back to the station where you got mission... Depending on the mission level gives bounty of what the guy is worth...
As in basic levels of normal missions...
Level 1... frigs/destroyers Level 2... frigs/destroyers/cruisers Level 3... frigs/destroyers/cruisers/battlecruisers Level 4... frigs/destroyers/cruisers/battlecruisers/battleships
Now... instead of normal loot drops... they drop fits based on their ships... aka "henchmen name loot" that are A, B, C, X type mods.
Also there should be a limit of when acquiring and finishing the mission as to when you also start a new mission. Just an idea... change or comment as you wish. |
