Edited by: PhamNuwen on 19/12/2004 14:47:11 thx :)
Would be nice to find this in the menue on the left side in the forum :) Or is it already somewhere linked?
Some mistakes in the handbook: - Roles are incomplete; missing: * 'Auditor' * 'Security Officer' * 'Config equipment' * 'Config starbase equipment' * 'Rent Office' * 'Rent Factory' * 'Rent Research' * 'Trader' (mixup with 'pilot'?)
Missing: what was the intention of CCP to have Roles and Titles? Titles == 'userdefined Roles'?
When should I use Titles? For a larger number of members with the same rights?

Edited by: PhamNuwen on 20/12/2004 20:48:30 Edited by: PhamNuwen on 19/12/2004 14:44:52 More problems/questions: In the past I used individual rights for each member on hangars/containers.
Now I wish to use 'Titles': - I assigned the hangar/container access to the 'Titles' -> ok. - I assigned the 'Titles' zu my members -> ok. But I have to reset all the individual rights for the access? For each Member? :((
How is the evaluation for the rights? First the Title (based on roles), than individual roles?
How ist the evaluation for the 3 types of hanger (or cargo) access? Is it necessary to set all 3 types?
Thx --- FSR in EVE

u do not need to set the rights to all three if they arnt needed ..
#1 is you HQ access .. which can be set seperately to all others... meaning that someone with full access at outpost A might have no access at HQ where all sensitive stuff is kept.
#2 is regular access and applies to all of the hangers not HQ or not #3 (base)
#3 you can set a persons base system - which i turn allows you to set access to just that system for that person.
For example Bob is new to the corp. The corp has 4 offices, one of which is the HQ. Bob gets no access to the HQ (cause his CEO is paranoid). Bob is told to go and operate in and around office #2, and he gets full access to this office. Bob has limited access to the other two offices #3 and #4. With the 3 types of acess granting a CEO / Director can now allow for different levels of access.. which is a great improvement on the old system. -
