It's hard and cold in the depths of space
Where there's no remorse and precious little grace
And death can come as swift as a Rifter's trail.
But when pilots meet in a saloon bar
Trading hoary tales of near and far
They'll all agree on one sordid, sorry tale.
In the battle-lanes of deepest Catch
There resides a grim and nasty be-atch
A harridan who no man dares to tame
She'll burn your ships and wreck your pods
Friend or foe it makes no odds
She's a cold hard killer, and Bessie is her name.
The first to croak was the man, Aneu
Who met flaming death in You-Dash-Que
His ship went down like a two-bit Amarr *****
He warped on in to say hello
And was pulverised in one fatal blow.
Bessie told him not to post no more.
Wolfman was the next to die
When his Megathron was blown out of the sky
Offending the gal with his presence in her space
Well her turrets flamed and the ship went down
Before you could even say WTFPWN
Cos Bessie's a gal you just don't stare in the face
So if you're flying by eight-eighteen
Remember there's sights best left unseen
Just fly on by, or you'll be taking a clone-jump trip.
But if you dare and you're a real man
We'll have fun picking up your can...
...assuming Bessie lets us. That ***** just ate my ship!
