Anyway, I mainly fly a Curse. It's the premier Amarr nano-cruiser. So WHY does it go 1400m/s to a Vaga's 2500m/s? Sure I can understand Minmatar should be a bit faster... but the difference is ridiculously huge. See also: Ishtar, 1500m/s and Cerberus, 1400m/s. Minmatar isn't just "faster" it's OMGWTFSUPERFAST!!!! 
Their racial bonus of (speed) is too much. Why can Amarr ships not have nearly twice as much (Armor) as Minmatar, or Caldari nearly twice as much (Shield), or Gallente nearly twice as much (DPS)?
Maybe its the unique ship"power" of the ship? It doesnt neut like the curse, it doesnt tank as well as the curse (afaik, but im not 100% sure about this), it does not much damage, its just fast. Thats it. Its called variety between ships. And its only 1! Ship. Not all Minmatar like it sounds in your posts.

It doesn't neut like the Curse. That much is true, although it still has a neut to neut off tackle. However, it tanks a LOT better than the Curse (35,000 EHP with pretty even resists) as opposed to a Curse with 25000-30000 (standard non-supertanked fits) and a MASSIVE EM AND THERMAL HOLE IN CAPS CAUSE ITS SO MASSIVE! And Vagabond does nearly twice the dps of a Curse (Curse does 240, 300 with launchers, while Vaga has an EFT DPS of well over 500 with a standard fit, and can project this DPS from the very start of a fight, while the Curse is still waiting for its drones to slowly reach the other ship), with switchable damage types to boot, and it doesn't lose a couple mil worth of T2 medium drones if it has to GTFO in a hurry.
I often lose kills with my Curse because the DPS is very low, and things de-agress or jump. I often get jammed by ECM drones before the end of a fight, because fights take such a long time, even though I have twice the SS of a Vaga. I often miss out on kills because of the low scanres of the Curse. I get forced to retreat by things like Drakes which exploit my EM hole and cant be broken with my low DPS. Everyone and his dog uses capless tanks these days, or cap boosters, so my neuts rarely help me to finish a fight any quicker.
All these downsides and you don't think the Curse deserves a little bit more speed?
wow.....um...Im kinda of speechless..I cant belive you are comparing a RECON to a HAC...lmao...really you need to stop posting. First off lets look at the curse shall we...NO other ship in the game has such a wide target selection as the curse. You dont need 400dps plus because any ship being neuted only has a descent chance to to survive. You dont need 2500 m/s because any ships that get within your grasp is going to have there propulsion mods shut down...so now there blazing 2500 m/s is now only 400 m/s You ask any vagabond pilot and they will tell you to AVOID those dreaded ship like a CURSE. Second quit trying to buffer the ship and put an active armor tank on it.throw some eanms and a repper sit at range Tracking disrupt and pwn ur target. ITS a FREAKING RECON No other recon can even come close to a curse.....the best in the game really. Vagabonds makes one mistake ..getting neuted or web scram and we die like flies enough said
p.s im still laughing from the thought of mini being overpowered.....LMAO 3.5 years and this is the first Ive ever heard those words....LMAO
