Since exodus came, I've experienced "clicking" sounds while battling npc's .. when there's much sound going on at the same time, that is.
Never had that problem before exodus. Using the built-in soundcrap on this asus p4 motherboard.

Just reactivated my account and downloaded the client and got some sound problems as well. A clicking sometimes, but when I slide the volumes in the esc-menu the sound dissapears completely and is comming back after getting a message from autopilot. Never had it with the previous build before exodus. __________________________________________________ "Time will reveal everything, but only once so be prepared." |

Can't adjust sound levels at all. When I'm lucky there's no sound at all when i log in, but mostly is just very loud.
Really interferes with teamspeak

I get a *****leing popping sound too. I have SB Live and everythings up to date. I this problem with another DirectX game, it got fixed after a patch.
... you will see more and more marketing which in turn will bring you more players to torture. |

Sometimes the sound effects drop completely. Somehow the sound is very, very fubared after Exodus. A fix would be nice CCP.
But then again, it's nearly Christmas, so everyone will be on holiday. O yeah, fixing the sound does require some effort.
...Actually, it'll be fixed about the same time the "My Character" tool will be fixed. Like, when hell freezes over... Lazy buggars...

Yeah, absolutely no control on master volume. Needs to be fixed.. TS and ventrilo are fairly essential to gameplay, they are no use when the volumes maxed out. My ears are bleeding!

I had the same problem. I just set the volume to 0.0, and exited eve, then i looked in prefs.ini under cache, and noticed that masterVolume was set to something like 0.67357546757357. I just changed it to 0. No more sound.
