For now, Andreus, I'm going to have a glass of brandy and annoy my wife by playing the Miesian gentleman she always wants me to be. After that, who knows? |

In that case, check your contracts. A little something for you and your wife to enjoy together while you kick back and take a well-earned break from all the hard work you did with Strix - premium-grade Mannar whiskey, straight from their most exclusive distilleries.
Enjoy, sir. ----- Andreus Ixiris CEO, Mixed Metaphor

I am sure the wife thanks you in advance you did not decide upon the Mannar Tequila, Andreus. I think she is currently indisposed chasing the cat out of the vents, but thanks all the same. |

Sad news. A long time ago we flew together as part of Acheron Federation. I have fond memories of our struggles to make Solitude a securer place to live.
I greet the pilots of STRIX and wish them all the best in the future.

*doffs the utterly ridiculous woven-reed hat he's for some reason wearing*
My pleasure, madamT. I must confess that your fortune is quite accidental - it was a choice motivated by quality, more than any concern for your cat, but it's very hard nowadays to find Mannar tequila of any quality remotely acceptable to give to an old friend as a gift. Still, I'm glad that you approve of my choice. ----- Andreus Ixiris CEO, Mixed Metaphor

Edited by: Julianus Soter on 18/07/2010 23:51:08 I was with Strix, three years ago. I participated in combat to defend Federation interests, against superior forces. Strix survived those wars, and became stronger for it.
I would later leave the corporation following disagreements with certain leadership regarding intelligence sharing protocol. Well, such things happen, and the corporation carried on without me. I would take what I had learned with Gerrard DuNord and Damith D'Estalas on the frontier, Syndicate and Fountain.
Strix guided my early months of training, and I became a better person for it. I wouldn't be half the person I am now without Gerrard's calm fleet command, and Damith's excellent tutelage and encouragement.
It is a shame that such a noble organization would come to dissolve with a whimper.

Sad news indeed. Thoughts of Strix always brings back fond and proud memories. A great Federation supporter is gone and you will be missed.
I wish all Strix pilots the best of luck wherever they go from here. |

Well Mssr. Soter, corporate dissolution really is not a matter attended to with much fanfare. It is a task attended to by the bureaucrats and creditors, and their errant scrawls are not the sounds of celebration I agree. We could have offered the crack of twenty-one guns but I do believe it is much preferred for us to have the only the clink of glass and liquor as we wrap ourselves in warm nostalgia of battles and glories past.
That I think is much more fitting and solemn tribute to our collective efforts than any attempts at self-aggrandizement of our achievements. Indeed, what need have we ever had for vanity? For the pursuit of fame? For glory? A core tenet of Strix Armaments and Defence since its inception has been a simple desire to do our duty for the Federation. That is all.
Now it is time for a new generation of sons and daughters of liberty to continue to carry on the legacy. |

Edited by: Vikarion on 19/07/2010 01:03:02 Edited by: Vikarion on 19/07/2010 01:02:52 I find it rather curious that Strix is returning Ishukone's investments and assets after so recently asserting that such assets were illegal and that Ishukone had engaged the Cartel against you.
One might question whether those statement were, shall we say, less than completely truthful. One might also inquire as to exactly how Strix is returning such assets when they were said to have been seized by the SDII?
More and more, this is beginning to look exactly as Pilot Jenneth theorized: an intentional smear campaign against Ishukone...that backfired. Or perhaps you discovered some things about the Federation that you didn't appreciate.

Mssr. Vikarion, I will seek to answer your concerns. The seizure of Ishukone Corporation shares in both Strix Armaments and Defence and Lokikamo Innova was conducted solely by the SDII as part of their own investigations into the Pertineere incident and under the proviso granted to them.
Any allegations of misconduct on the part of Ishukone Corporation made by either myself or Strix Armaments and Defence was a direct result of intelligence and information provided by the SDII during the course of their investigations.
Of course, the SDII may now be taking a degree of umbrage that those shares and assets they seized are being divested back to Ishukone Corporation, but as Strix Armaments and Defence will soon no longer exist as a legal entity the point is a moot one.
I would perhaps invite you Mssr. Vikarion to attempt to make a clear distinction between the SDII and Strix Armaments and Defence. No doubt it will serve you well in your speculations. |

I was very sorry to hear of this. Strix was the first Federation loyalist corporation I heard of years ago of as a new pilot, and it is sad to see it gone.
Good luck to all former Strix pilots.

Sad day indeed, I and my corporation have flown and fought alongside the Strix pilots and Zagamesh personally many many times and i have always counted them as friends and allies. Whether this has been in fleets under my command or fleets under Zagamesh's command Strix have always fought with skill and honour.
