Took 2 months off hoping the prices would normalize when I realize ccp was not going to slowly back down the npc resources but cut them all at once of course creating a Major price hike
So I took a look to see robotics went from 4-6k pop to 24k per
You really need to intercede and stop letting people price gouge based on expansions
I then took a ganger at the T2 products I make that require robotics and their sale prices have not increased to compensate for the 400% cost increase
Over all PI was supposed to be an expansion to help others not be required making and already overly repetitive pos system even more mind numbing the only way anyone at this stage is going to have pos if they do PI gree thanks boss please add more work to my job description with out asking
I am not interested in another mini game sorry
If you where as smart as you say you are you would have slowly reduced the npc flow of said resources to allow the prices not to spike like this
I am starting to wonder if ccp staff have characters profiting from this or something cause its horrible management in my view a totally armature move I wouldnĘt have expected out of ccp after playing for 7 years
Sorry if I am rough ccp moto is HTFU live up to your own motto making an eco that dosnt work or is broken is pretty bad stuff guys.
Ps no I donĘt want to play your mini game thanks though

Rage more.
If you don't want to play the new mini-game. Then don't. Problem solved and wasn't too hard.
Also, I have a pos, and PI has not affected it any other way cept the fuel is marginally more expensive to buy. So there goes that.
Also, you are under the assumption that CCP is allowing price spiking, which is by your thinking a bad thing, because it's what, breaking the market?
It's essentially quite hard to actually break the market (leaving inflation and such out of this), as it will always fix itself when players get to decide prices. If something is too expensive, people won't buy it and the price goes down until they will. If something is cheap and volume runs out, the price increases. It's very basic really.
So there is actually no other problem with PI, cept the fact that you don't like it. Too bad many others do. Sucks to be you.

Ok I am not unsympathetic. Just.
Apart from the mandatory HTFU ..
My corp is small. 15 guys. A few of those are research/fabrication alts I believe. Every one of us has one planet (just one), with one advanced command center and 4-5 extractors. We don't even bother with it on short cycles and most of them are in low sec (transport ships ftw). Between us we bring in enough raw materials to fuel the POS and we regularly have surpluss to flog on the market. We don't view it as a chore or another unwanted 'mini game'. Its just more stuff to waste our time on that has been, honestly, a welcome change for some from the unrelenting grind of buying stuff in Jita and freightering it halfway accross known space every week. And it makes us a few extra iskies to splurge on friendship bracelets and cup cakes!
I totally understand where you are coming from with the price hikes, the hoarding, the gouging and dumpage of old stock etc. But that is, as you so astutely point out, a bygone fixture of EVE. And yes, I am sure CCP and CCP's friends and friends of CCP's friends benefit from insider knowledge in advance of such things, but that's really of no concern to the rest of us man. Seriously. Big fish eat little fish. All is as God wills it etc.
Are you by any chance working as part of a small or even large team towards a common goal/purpose? Or doing it solo? If you don't like the 'mini games' why do you play eve?
I'm honestly, truly, not trolling you here, but I can't understand why its such a source of rage for you (or anyone else). It's just 'another welcome new feature' for us. Yes its repetative and click happy and has flaws that have been pointed out and mooted ad nauseum by the sweaty masses on the boards for the last few weeks etc. But its shiny. Its new. It adds to the depth of the game. What's not to like?

No it didn't.
The reality is, players set the sell orders. Not CCP.
If it's too expensive don't buy it. If it's too expensive for others, they won't buy it either. Then the price goes down. Please try to understand.

So either the margins are thinner or people are selling at a loss. One simply means you'll have to suck it up. The other is an opportunity. If you don't have the resources to fight against below-cost sales then I would suggest trying a different market.

Whatever i dont really care what the majority of you exploiters think i am merly expressing my view of allowing price gouging and profiting from it, if such a issue was based on players or starting with them sure but this problem was created by ccp lack of foresight or probably they planed it all along
The reality is its a required item in most everything so i guess your saying all those people are going to chose to turn off there pos and stop making there T2 ? or maybe they will just pay your price and lose even more profit margin till there is no profit in anything anymore or be forced to do this dumb expansion which i think is ccp plan all along it was to force us to do something i am guessing less than 20% of us where interested in doing
My last revenge is not doing ether i will wont make t2 till i see the prices back down to realistic levels 2x old cost sure
4x old cost hahah I hope more do as I do and make T2 prices skyrocket
Good thing i multi trained and can run level 4 =)
Peace

I've identified your problem. It can be read from this piece of text I quoted. You cannot see it yourself, because the problem is exactly that. I will also not going to try to explain what the problem is, but I will give you the chance to educate yourself, because I have the feeling you would just skip the lengthy explanation I'd have taken a good 30 min to write, because you are angry at the game and or CCP and feel the need to blindly blame them for your actual lack of undertanding of a basic princible of business.
Opportunity cost. If you really want to find a solution to this problem, learn what that means, and reflect it to PI goods.
"Maybe they will just pay your price and lose even more profit margin till there is no profit in anything anymore or be forced to do this dumb expansion which I think is ccps plan all along. It was to force us to...."
PI goods extracted yourself, and PI goods bought from the market. You think there's a difference. Now it should be simple enough for you to find the logical flaw.
Or are you just going to skip everything I just wrote and blindly rage more?

People whine that PI items go up in price People whine that minerals go down in price.
People just whine about any sort of change. Here I'll introduce you to a famous eve saying that you should already know by now: Adapt or die. - It's not "Play through a pre-set story, become stronger, do endgame". Gameplay is open ended, and you make your own story. Unless you're too afraid of 'pvp grief' to do anything relevant |

frankly I dont know where the hell this guy is buying his PI stuff but it definatly aint jita.
I have NEVER EVER seen PI materials of any level go up in cost to buy. They have only gone down. So much so that 47k of oxygen is only worth 1.8 million isk..
The problem with the market is you are forced to make sell orders to combat the price poisioners. If you dont wanna make a sell order and wait months for it to sell then you just right click and sell the normal way.. the downside to that is people put up buy orders for 1 isk per unit and your pritty much forced by the games mechanics to sell to that person..
So in effect if you have the market skill obtaining stockpiles of item for 1-300 isk per unit is super easy.. But selling it for profit is the hard part, because everybody is going to undercut, so you gotta wait till late at night when nobody is on and set your order then. That way when people wake up your order will still be the best price. You must also keep in mind that when CCP releases an expansion the consequences will never be the same. OP.... Really not to flame you but CCP didnt break anything, no one is exploiting as you say. The prices of t2 stuff will slowly climb, just relax. Just because your butt hurt that your not making as much money as you did before, get over it.
What do you mean by the prices "normalize" do you want the prices to be pre Tyrranis? Not gunna happen.
Take a chill pill and hold tight. t2 prices will go up and you can stop whining.

Yes.. but he will always be undercut to a point he apparently won't be able to mentally handle. As PI users for T2 comps will go the same route as self mined minerals on the multitude of manufactured products.
But that is the players market and the way it should be, and if someone.. like the OP.. can't handle it, they should not take part in it. This is after all a game. With many different roads and avenues to walk with plenty of 'tangiable' objects to lace one's fingers around and use as they see fit.
Whats a shame tho is here we have another person that feels the need to litter the forum with their own personal thread, I guess cause they feel they are much more important than posting in one of the hundreds of T2/PI threads with their thoughts/ideas/feelings.
Needing some sort of mommy to hold his hand, and make the world 'right' again cause he is unable to do so on his own, other than blindly hurl rage at both the 'Gods' and the peers. Because we all know.. any story that takes that route really ends happily for the screamer of blind justice to anyone that dare oppose his warped idealogy and desires.
The only disaster I see here is yet another person that is unable to adapt and change to an ever changing universe. Don't blame CCP, OP.. for your own personal defects and faults.

Oxygen is one of the few exceptions because it is so ridiculously easy to make (a P1 from a very abundant high sec P0 resource) Check out the prices in the last 3 months for Enriched uranium and robotics and you will see large jumps. POS fuel on the whole has gone up 15-25% or so since PI has been introduced. The OP is whining because the patch has cut into his profits and he's mad. - It's not "Play through a pre-set story, become stronger, do endgame". Gameplay is open ended, and you make your own story.
