Edited by: BjornarGoesToSpace on 25/07/2010 11:15:00 I dont know what happened in that particular incident, but please do not put words in our mouths. We want people to play the game the way they want to, because if they dont they wont be sticking around...
There are very few corps that deny carebears, and we are not one of them. The only thing we are asking for when it comes to PvP is that people help were they can. Oh and we all get a bit silly from time to time, right Aaron
How come Aaron is allowed to post his recruitment threads in the General forum and we aint. QQ I'll tell mommy!

I support what Aaron is doing. I'll head over when I can, and donate some ISK to the cause when I can't.
I see you get so much unjustified hatred from people who dont even know you, simply because you are confident in what you are saying and what you want to do. There's a problem in today's society where being confident about yourself and being generally up-beat is seen as a bad thing. People instantly latch onto it and begin to try to bring down that person. For some reason it's much more acceptable to be defeatist and to downplay one's qualities. It's actually somewhat amusing to see how much opposition you're getting in this thread, from people who dont know you, dont operate in the space you are talking about and have no other connection with you than this thread. |

Actually, a lot of the hatred is from people that have been down to the area, befriended him, then turned when a simple dispute became a full-blown war against our alliances. Remember all those other threads? If not, find and read them. They have the stories behind Aaron's real intentions.
All he wants is people to come down so he can charge 4x the price on everything (2mil for a frigate anyone?) and so he can control them. AoV stood by his ideals when we first moved down there since we also follow NRDS policy, but the way he does it I personally do not agree with. It's difficult to work with a person who basically takes advantage of people who come down to live in the same space.
Note that I am speaking for myself and my words do not reflect the words of my alliance. I forgot to mention that you are in fact reading something that is called a signature. |

To be honest if you came through in a Badger and passed through quickly and did not hang around to spy I would let you through. If you went to the station to pick something up and said 0/ I would say go ahead. But if you then did something devious to create a threat having been given that leeway then you would no longer get it.

That is highly unfair, I realise that Aaron's manner can annoy people which is what this is all about with LogiCFX, "How dare Aaron talk about the missile incident in the Hub Channel..." If your thin skinned and full of yourself then Aaron is going to annoy you, if your mature and seen it all before than you realise that he is actually helpful and generous. In terms of the market the current prices are to take advantage of our enemies... I think Senghir made a very mature comment and I would compare that to U93AJAX anyday...

I would bet my pod that Aaron would kill me on sight no matter what ship i was in. This is in conflict with hiw new invented policy - Not a threat, dont shoot... And i will show him the same gesture, difference is i do not claim to be NotThreatDontShoot.

My dislike toward Aaron is not unjustified. There is a MULTITUDE of reasons i can point out but have been brought out in the last threadnought
I was on that convo after you closed your venture the previous time. Myself and my corp did go into your PUBLIC channel and congratulated you on a good run. We even pointed out where we thought you could've done better and offered a few other suggestions to make it work. You got defensive and asked us to leave and we did.
In regards to Celes Steele, We never antagonized him. We're still blue with him to this day, he's a good pilot. When he took over the Hub Project Local-Spike supported it. I personally offered support in terms of defense, logistics and market seeding. That is until you re-assumed control and shot AoV again. So please do not try to make events up to garner support.
ANYONE that was part of the Hub Endeavor, my side, your side, neutrals can attest I have not obscured or bended the truth. There's absolutely no need.
Oh, and Hai Cat 0/. I haven't seen you in my local as of yet, looking forward to it though. Before moving to 0.0 i was a Pirate-Hunter. ------------------------------------------------ Whatever is worth living for, is worth dying for.

It went like this U93AJAX insulted Aaron in local, AOV threatened to make Aaron red when he responded in kind, Aaron took that as being set red there and then and then fired on Indecent Intent, it was not one of Aaron's best moments. When Celes turned up from holiday she found it all in a mess as AOV had attacked two of us when we thought that they were still blue, he resigned. You make it sound like Aaron took command and shot AOV.
To say it as you did makes you look foolish, perhaps you should be honest, you want to get Aaron, you were once very close and you took the side of the other person, Aaron saw that as personal betrayel and went emo again not one of his best moments, the thing is that he has learnt from that error and it cost him big time, recently your corp told me where to go when we tried to come to terms. Man up and tell it how it is, you want to drive Aaron out and you want to be as unreasonable as he was then, thats what its about.

Gabriel, Dalv, Logicfx,
I'll try to keep this as brief as possible.
As ive said to you on many occasions I felt that it was best you and your people stand down and grow beyond a childish dispute. I also advised you I am not a griefer and try to play the game for fun.
Nobody wants to back you on this one, by trying so hard to defeat me you stand in the way of NPC 0.0 population. I wonder exactly what it is you hope to achieve, and what your endgame is.
Im going to ask you one last time. after this there is no going back.
Will you stop the vendetta against me?
You seem to think all I want to do is destroy you and this is not true. Our argument is only one small part of my experience, and youd have to agree the simple fact is ive seen more than you. Ive fought many people with a bitter vendetta against me and each time I do I learn more and more.
The line has clearly been drawn Gabriel and co, its time to decide for sure which side you will stand on.

I had a strange situation earlier. One of my friends is having an issue with the person who lives below them, who plays their music rather loudly at unsociable hours. He reported the issue to his landlord; which leads me to a point.
My friend and I were sitting at a communal table outside, enjoying a beer or two. The fellow who lived below my friend, the culprit, arrived seeming to be in an advanced state of refreshment. He seemed to forget my friends name, and preferred to call him by the name "Grass" for some reason.
We held tight on the picnic table, we had beer to finish! Matey from below had decided to stand watch over us, an obvious act of intimidation. I advised my friend regarding his course of action, and thankfully he took my advice.
We discussed the issue at, for me, some tedious length. I told him, he could rise to the situation, but that would negatively affect any action that could be taken in future. Old matey could say as many harsh words as he pleased, he could damage property. He could be a general ass.
What did I tell my friend? It was more detailed, but I basically told him to hold his tongue. If he rose to the occasion, it would surely make things worse. If he rose to the situation, it could be used against him in future. This fellow (who was perfectly pleasant to me, but probably just to make a point) was spoiling for a reaction. IF my friend had given him that, I am confident the situation would have been made worse.
I think in some situations, the proverbial holding of tongue saves lives lol

Aaron, you might find this hard to believe but we don't really care that much about you. You must have noticed that we left UF-KKH about 8 months ago. We don't camp the station you are in, or stop you from doing your thing.
If you want to invite high-sec pilots down to NPC 0.0 then why not just do it? Make your invitation attractive - explain how to make the move from high-sec, what they need to bring down and how to get started making ISK. Thousands of pilots have done all this before, and really all it takes is the desire to explore new game content and a mindset that enjoys a challenge. You can help them get started and pass on your experience. What people *don't* want is to hear you crying all the time about the vast numbers of people that hate you.
Either have a thread that is about inviting people down to NPC 0.0 or have a thread that is about you, but don't do both in one thread or you will have a repeat of your last failed threadnought. Just some friendly advice.

Aaron was trying to get a red passing through he was unaware that you were there, he also missed the red completely, he apoligised and you started smack talking and said more than just idiot, I have the logs. This followed on from bumping Aaron on the station and numerous insults in local when he was blue by various members of AOV to wind him up. I have the logs supplied by a member of Local Spike. But I have to say I am impressed, you managed to produce a sentence without a single swear word, well done!!!!

And again I must say well done for the lack of swear words in your post, most unlike you, though these forums do tend to block them so I guess you realise there is no point to communicate in your normal way.

You think so bud?
Ive found its much more exciting working with a group of guys. Also I feel lots of us need to get with the team work mentality.
Its good knowing theres a network of people who sell ships modules ready to help you, or perhaps you may want to buy the minerals and build the ship yourself. This is the benefit of working in a coallition. you get supported to an extent.
Its all very exciting this.

This thread is too much of a gem to be left to rot in CAOD. Sure, Aaron might get a few corp members out of it, and I understand you want to completely stop his venture, destroy him, and scatter the ashes of his alliance to the corners of the universe, but this thread is (and always was) a decent read and it would be a shame if it left GD.
Kicking Aaron while he's down is pretty contemptible. But I guess that's only to be expected. He's right when he says he does have very bitter enemies.

My view is and have allways been that populating 0.0 is a good thing, and aaron is trying to do just that. I DO NOT want to try and stop Aaron, i just want him to realise he has to change something and not try the same old strategy over and over again. 3rd or 4th time now?

That is refreshing to say it, you have my respect, the break up of the first Hub Zero left a lot of bitterness, I get the impression that Aaron has moved on though he still has a blind spot in terms of Gab. You guys gave him quite a kicking after that break up, but what surprises me that your corp is looking backwards instead of forwards after the break up of Sys-K, but who am I to say what you should do and what your end goal is.
Your perception of Aaron is different to me, but that is Eve, people look for any excuse to fight, thats the way it is, but at least you said it straight.
