You need at least 5.00 player corp to faction standings, but I would suggest wait until you hit 5.01 to make absolutely sure (4.9999 for instance gets displayed as 5.00 but it's still below 5).

1) You can not deploy a POS if you are in an NPC Corp.
2) Your -corp- must have Standings = 10x the system Sec. (5.0 for 0.5, 6.0 for 0.6, etc). Corp standings do not take into account any of the Charisma based skills.
3) Corp standings are an average of all the members, so if you're at 4.62, but you recruit someone with 0.01, then your corp will have about 2.31 (give or take). |

And unless something has changed, you do NOT get credit for the standings bonus applied by any of the various skills that otherwise up your standing. The standings your corporation will attain is the average of the BASE value of the standings of the members. Someone please correct me if I'm behind the times because this was an issue for me about two years ago when I first set up a POS in Empire.

Pretty much, except player are not counted in the average until they have been in the corp for at least 7 days.

also, someone with 0.00 standings dosn't count for or against your corp. so if you have an alt corp with the standings, and you want the standings to stay, have someone with no standings at all ceo the corp. Note there's a difference between standings displayed as "0.00" and standings which are actually 0 (null). Null standings are not displayed and don't affect corp standings; "0.00" standings are non-zero rounded to 0.00 - they will affect corp standings.

you could also hire someone to run the standings up for you, or buy a premade corp with the standings already there.... I happen to have a corp thats got the standings that I'm no longer useing.

With some isk, low standing is not a problem.

Or you could hire someone with high standings, to sit in your corp for week. Last day just kick off everyone who have standings toward that faction.

Thanks, Mona. Probably should finish out the COSMOS missions and I've thought about using a hired gun to get our standings up.
I just had such a big WOOT when the numbers went over 5 that I'm having an emo moment ;)
