Ok, this is my first MD threat, so work with me in baby steps if i'm talking ******ed. I am considering taking out a loan for a little bit of isk in the near future to set myself up in nullsec. I'll talk about the specifics in another post, or update this one later, but right now i'm wondering what the process would be to actually get something like this done.
To start, i have no MD background, so i've got no rep with anyone that browses this area. Obviously there is a trust issue in something like this, do i have any chance of getting serious consideration? If not, what would the first steps be if i wanted to be seen as serious/trustworthy?
If i do get consideration, how does a loan in Eve usually work? Would i just be given the amount and then pay the total plus whatever interest at the agreed date? What are the common interest rates for a relatively low amount (about 300-400mil)? What kind of time-frame would be normal for that amount?
Finally, what kind of information would be considered important by potential investors when asking for a loan?
Thanks in advance for any responses,
Heihachiro

Unless you have at least 100% collateral, this part

Will be the end of it period!
No one will risk 0.0 activities with either being Chribba or having collateral.

I don't think people risking isk on 0.0 activities is much of a problem. People who have lived there will know its not too difficult to turn good profit in nullsec without too much hassle. And like i said, this post isnt asking for a loan, if i do decide to look for investors, i'll make another thread. Right now i'm looking for general information.
As for collateral, is that asked for in most cases? If so, what items are generally accepted as collateral?

I don't doubt that one bit, but I am just one investor out of several and can't speak for everyone.
Though so far the success rate of 0.0 offerings has been 0%

Generally BPOs make ex cellent collateral. No matter what the ME/PE levels are they will be valued at NPC price. Some other forms of collateral may be accepted, but it mainly depends on the items and the price history of them.
If you do go the collateralized route, there are a few people in this forum who would be willing to offer you a private loan based on this.

yeah as breaker said mention of nullsec will probably put an end to any hope of investment you may have. in all truth though any corp worth its salt will help you get setup in null sec anyway so you need to find a better corp.

For a loan, there are a few people operating on the forums who charge between 3-6% per month with 100-110% collateral.
You're unlikely to get an uncollateralised loan on MD for a 0.00 or lowsec enterprise, unless everyone is drunk.
The rep/known bit does help, but ultimately these offering are classed as very high risk and have a significant track record of failure.
Talk to your corp or alliance if you are looking to invest in 0.00 markets, worst case scenario there are also 0.00 JF courier services available.
300-400mil should be achievable in a couple of weeks if you have reached any degree of competence in game. Don't mean that in a snidey way. If you can afford to fill up a cloaky transport with items you know will sell, you should make a decent margin, without any need for investment.
