Has the rate upon which mission agents in high sec now give missions in low sec been increased in the last 6 months?
I just got 6 missions in a row all of which i had to decline because i dont want to bring my machariel (PVE) fit into low sec to do a mission in low sec.
I don't remember low sec missions turning up this frequently 6 months ago when i last ran missions with this agent...

You really should go read up on the dev blogs, where this is explained.....

I have been away from game for the last 4 months so I'm not up to date. Care to link me the appropriate dev blog?

The short of it is: Load balancing systems and this means that if you are missioning in a system close to lowsec, you get sent there quite often (since lowsec has fewer people in system, hence loadbalancing)

Don't feel too bad, my agents send me 8 or more jumps to get to a low sec system. Sometimes sending me 2 or 3 deep in. But, I refuse all those missions. It has really cut down on my mission running and it also messes up the mission counters for a Story Line because of all the refusals.

Do as everybody else and move DEEP into highsec, where the next 5 gates are still highsec. It¦s easier to handle the ninjas than lowsec.
For the 10th time, WELL DONE, CCP!

Please go to one of the busier hubs. It's all part of their latest great idea, to reduce the load, or spread people out. But it has one giant flaw.

Yep - the flaw being that casual mission runners are in general - frightened sheepies ...
Even so - I like the newer system - Am just waiting for a non-troll post by a lowsec resident with low sec-status complaining of getting sent to nearby hisec for missions ! Or a dead-end NPC-sov 0.0 macro-ratter getting annoyed at all these mission runners dropping in and forcing them to cloak up all the time . All generalisations are false - Discuss.

confirming that eve is a one-player game and you should never be in any danger if you don't want to be. |

A good starting point: * An update on Level 5 Missions * Mission Load Balancing Woes
