Just a warning about this fool.
Naturally as a selfish freak this guy is great at eve, lol.
But you gotta know what a pain in the ars he is.. As he has screwed his own corp on a massive level (as CEO)he now wants another one to run in the ground. So what does he do, well first he comes to FBS, I kinda liked the guy, even given his past as a idiot and many advisories not to let him in. I figured in the environment we have in corp he would blend in after awhile and get along great, as most do. WOW, was I mistaken..
He could not abide by some very simple standards we have in this corp and was asked to leave about a month after he got here. I had soo many emails about this guy not following guidelines, it was not funny. So when he leaves he decides to attempt to take alot of members with him, LOL.. Good thing FBS members are not as stupid as their CEO can be, so no one but Dawntreader and his real life friends left. But common a mass mail with lies about corp to pursuade ppl to follow him?? And naturally on his way out, when it was a slow time, not many online, he took as many ships as he could with him. Thinking that would effect us much, I have no idea.
Anyway, just a heads up at what an idiot this guy is. I will link some info in a reply later. |

Just a warning to everyone before you read hyperflys post in regard to other peoples behaviour.

Wow, this is really quite desperate.
OK here goes:
My old corp fell apart after an infiltration and theft by an unknown (at the time) 3rd party. I did admittadly overreact to this and got well and truly blastered about it on the forums. Which is fair enough.
My month in FBS....well, for all their glizty talk and slogans, Hyper would be better suited to running a sweat shop in china. It's a farming operation, nothing more. PVP is kept to a minimum and serves to appease the non-carebears.
Their PVP potential is considable, but they were quite low on experienced FCs when I joined. So even in the first week I was asked to take out fleets and run home defence. The members enjoyed the battles and particually the fact that we *never lost*.
So I unofficially became the default PVP FC. Corp officers would specifically ask me to to run fleets. During that time, corp PVP only ever went badly when I wasn't online, or the couple of times someone else took the FC seat.
The standards and rules he keeps banging on about? I honestly don't have a clue. He never actually felt the need to tell me what rules I'd broken before he sent the one line, 'please leave the corp' email.
There was always a lot of aggro about scan reports not being posted to the site quickly enough or correctly. But it certainly wasn't just me who struggled with the amateur website, which only loads a page once for every 6 attempts.
What led to me leaving the corp was an incident with a corp officer during a low sec battle that was going very badly. He was sat safely on a wormhole while everyone else was fighting for thier lives. I asked him over TS why he wasn't engaging and he launched into an unhinged and abusive screaming fit.
He really made a huge **** of himself and the whole corp was stunned. But he is the site admin, crucial to the corp and very cozy with Hyper.
Later on that day I got my marching orders and over half the PVP fleet privatley contacted me and annouced they'd be following shortly.
So we decided to stick together and try something new. I figured I was well within my rights to invite anyone I liked to into a new corp, so I mailed some of the more experienced pew hounds.
And theft? Oh please.
From what I hear a few caldari ships have just been reported missing. It's been at least 3 days since I left the FBS home system. And I'm no corp thief.
I've been sent one accusatory email and I offered up my full api info. The offer stands.
Is it for me to speculate on what happened to the missing ships? Maybe not.
But the corp leaders so far gone to extreme lengths to assassinate my character, so it wouldn't surprise me if they were behind it.
Or it's just as likley some other member took advantage of the recent chaos.
Personally, I've never even been in ANTRS. But I did buy this toon in 2008 with my (now) scan alt, Dipsodic.
The sale thread is still on eve search.
Anyway, sorry for the essay. My forum warrior days are officially over with this post. Blowing up spaceships is a damn sight more fun

I was actually impressed by Firebird months ago when we dec'ed their old alliance. They didn't fight much, but they were locked down tight on security in their wormhole and seemed intelligent.
Then we did some spanking around on Dawntreader and I realized he is a complete idiot. When I saw that Firebird picked him up my respect for them went down considerably.
This guy is completely useless. His only existence is to be a drama queen. Anyone who picks him up will just get more of the same.

I've noticed you have such poor observation skills, and lack the ability to read almost any situation DT. What really went down, still escapes you. Others may be easily confused and fooled by your pretentious confidence, yet discerning folks who have flown with you will understand you are actually a fairly poor gamer and an impressive drama queen.
#1: You still believe you are right, even when you have no intel/info on what you make decisions/presumptions on.
#2: That PVP session you so pointedly noted, had a second call for RTB, since you weren't *even* in it yet, and the first fragmented fleet got wiped out, you just jumped in, and saw a couple of corp mates that managed to barely escape the first engagement, you, yet again, shot off your idiotic comments, having absolutely no knowledge of what just happened. You draged further members to their death. The third call for RTB, of course was of no use, since 90% of the fleet was destroyed, along with you.
#3: The choice to boot you out was not something out of the blue, it was actually factored from a lot of feedback and at the very first day when you joined the corps, and were whining about trivial things, further down to your lack of any sense of responsibility, and everything must revolve around you, fortunately, only fools revolve around you.
#4: You cannot articulate any ideas you have at all, you resort to ad hominem remarks instantly, and refuse to discuss anything intelligently.
#5: You have some sort of insecurity that you need to work out. Not everyone will tolerate your bull****, and will tear you a new one. If you can't adapt, then get use to it.
#6: Stop being sore from being kicked out. Get on with your life/gaming.
This drama will end, and it'll be forgotten soon enough. You just need to drag out attention to yourself over and over again, and in a couple of months, I'm sure you'll pull some stupidity elsewhere and be in denial and start fresh threads, which will again have absolutely no substance whatsoever. Time to grow up and be man, and not cry to mommy and the (eve) world for being the fool?

I can't help but post a rely here. I'm new to FBS and as a newbie to a corporation, you have to be careful not to step on other people's toes. Now, I ran in a fleet with DT and found his ability to command and pvp questionable. I was considering also sending a mail to Hyper about it, but decided against it as I was new... So I confronted DT myself and he responds to my suggestions as if it was a personal insult. I mean, charging a cov op tengu with heavy missiles into close range with a brutix with the excuse of you wanted a point when we easily had points spread... (Yes he lost it and his response was "Oh well. *signs up for new corp tengu*")
His complete dis-regard for the comment with a "So?" demonstrated that he is someone who thinks he knows it all and can't learn. He claims to be a good solo pvper when all he's killed is fail fit battleships, haulers, mining ships and such. I actually thought I was the ******* for questioning someone in the corp while being so new. But I can see now that this guy is just an idiot who can't take orders, follow simple protocols such as naming bookmarks correctly, respond politely to a member asking for help with a site or show consideration for others when they want to run sites and he decides to go an pick a fight with people in the next system.
Good luck with the new corp, DT. I will obviously be declining your offer as I could not fly in a fleet, nevermind a corp, with you at the helm again.

You were given a fair chance, despite your past, to prove yourself once you joined FBS. Instead you were selfish, didn't help in necessary duties because (I quote) they "bored" you. Yes scanning is boring but its a team effort - an ethos you failed to understand.
To the other so called "forum warriors" (trolls  ), Hyperfly may have made a couple of bad decisions in the past, but since then he has been a great CEO and has led FBS from strength to strength in all areas. FBS now has a great player core, and despite DawnTreader's slander just one member (who just happens to be DT's real life friend) is leaving with DT.

I always wonder why people seem to think that any other people in EvE care about their domestic quarrels.

Good thing FBS members are not as stupid as their CEO can be, so no one but Dawntreader and his real life friends left. But common a mass mail with lies about corp to pursuade ppl to follow him?? And naturally on his way out, when it was a slow time, not many online, he took as many ships as he could with him. Thinking that would effect us much, I have no idea.
Anyway, just a heads up at what an idiot this guy is. I will link some info in a reply later.
