Greetings,
I don't play much, but I remember noticing this bug years ago. I did ask around and some people told me it's a GUI bug. Yesterday I finally decided to petition and find out for sure. The GM told me to bug report. So if it's a bug, then why has it left broken for years.
Here is an example of what I'm talking about:
I have a Nemesis and low-slots are all off. The damage on my Inferno Rage is 1360.8. Putting a BCSII online doesn't increase the damage as it should and it stays at 1360.8, but the rate-of-fire on my launchers does go down from 10.13 to 9.07. Is there an actual cap on the damage, or is this really a GUI bug? I've notice the same problem with other attributes and modules.
If this a bug, which I think it is, then why would a GM tell me to bug report it when it's been like this for years?

Because that keeps you busy and gives him something to say "oh yes, we keep working on that, but now you have to talk to a bughunter".

Because GMs are not devs, and do not work on the game internals. Even if the GM knew that it was a bug and that it has been reported before, he can do nothing at all to help you. He does not have the tools, the clearance and possibly the qualification to modify code or content.
Therefore, submit a bug report so the issue will get into the hands of someone who does have the tools, the clearance and the qualification to fix it. Signature? What signature? |

Why bother reporting anything, that's the real question.

I petitioned it because I wanted someone official to confirm my suspicion. I've gotten various explanations from players, and I don't know what to think. It's rather annoying to see important attributes not get updated when changing modules. I can't be the only who is affect by this 'bug', am I?

Design flaw, and no so there is no problem everyone in your situation is equally screwed by the flaw, hence no action needed, move along, move along.
