In light of CCP's avowed insistence that the Incarna ring rules all and with the next to impossible ability to have fleet fights in null or low sec, I'm wondering how many from the null sec alliances would be game for a large fleet fight in high sec? I post here as so far I haven't seen any push from my alliance HC to coordinate such a fight so I'd thought I'd take it upon my ugly butt self. First thing I guess I'd like to see is the amount of interest. If there is a positive response then we can go on to stage 2 and start co-ordinating how best to do this. Time is not important...after all we have 18 months before CCP plans on doing anything. Your thoughts please.

all alliances mutually dec. each other. go to designated system/region and crash the server. doesn't seem very hard to do. sure why not? goto all busy mission/trade hubs and just suicide everything you see, reship, rinse/repeat.
call it emogeddon. --

CCP will consider actually playing the game as griefing the servers and ban all the null sec accounts. Win-win situation.

"next to impossible ability to have fleet fights in null or low sec"
Exaggerate much? There's fleet fights all the time in both low and null sec.

we can do that via nullsec also no decs needed. lets just crash EVE for the same amount of weeks we got lag.

Edited by: Ocih on 01/08/2010 04:57:54 I cant speak for all of WTF but I will anyway.
Word out to MM, have a fleet in a system. I will see who in WTF is up for it. We can drop a can, go at it.
Omen, T1 fit for me. Not really planning to win. Just fight a fight.
I'm sure it goes against TOS to try and force a node crash but if they can have hulkageddon, there is no reason we can't go to mission hubs and have arranged battles.

Well, this idea is ostensibly is not to crash the server. We do know that Jita is on a premium server and we can view this as a test, one of two things will happen:
1) The server fails which will show that no dedicated node CCP has can handle a fleet fight (Thus CCP should stop promoting large fleet fight trailers)
2) The server holds which shows us that CCP needs to buy more server power.
I'm sure CCP would appreciate us testing out their equipment in a real world manner...so to speak ;)

Hence the request to join up on the mass testing events, where the server is rigged for data logging, not optimal node performance.
So yeah, they would love us to do that, in a productive way. This is just kicking in an open door. ========================== Nothing is true, everything is permitted. ========================== |
