Well if the hoff is going to be there I might think about turning up.. What are you planing on getting him to sing? I know this song that is pretty cool that I think he could do well, its based on an actual event.. Its sorta long though and I dont know if anyone could take the hoof for quite that length of time..
Could you ask him? The song is called Sniper. Much like this post..

you really did not believe that ken has any idea on how to fit any nano hac/recon ships ?.
On our forums was a recording from Bane vent of ken giving advice on how to run nano hac/recon gangs. The funniest part was when he starts lecturing WOLFY on how to run such fleets and on how to fit them. The irony is we fought WOLFY many times , you did not take their hac/recon fleets lightly, but ken and his girls pfft anyone would have thought they were sponsored by NIKE and their theme tune was ` keep on running`
basically ken and his girls should stick to their gate camping and ganking mission runners , leave the ship fitting and fleet advice to the PVP`ers

Yes, I was. After speaking with Order, we decided it wasn't a good fit.
And I don't fit 1600mm plates and nano's to harbingers, thank you. It was an 800mm plate and a nano to a zealot / navy omen and BANE told me to fit that way for their nano gangs.
I know there's 635347 pirate corps in the Minnie lowsec area, but just saying there's another one coming. More of a shameless plug for advertisement than anything else
Im fairly sure you must have misundestood something there. I have yet to see one of our nano gangs not being shield tanked...
I know I wasnt there for your brief stay as I was on vacation, but from what I heard, the lack of willingnes to listen to sane fits was what got you kicked out. (and for dropping better loot than an officer rat daily) So based on that I can only assume you have mixed some advice in with your own fits.
Anyway, I look forward to seeing you on the field.
I think they were copn "fist" from pl tbh, thats the only reason to put a plate on a zot

m8 ken doesnt camp gates, he solo's runnars in egg while the entire alliance is banging on a carrier in vard (?) and lilith is forced to call the b-team (AoS) to attempt to help gank it. oh, on the other hand, did you read my sig?

It doesnt really have anything to do with the PL setup, its a totally different concept. The Zealot isnt the best ship to use either, but does meet the minimum requirements.

It was Dal I think, Ken wasnt even active at the time and if AoS wouldnt all have worn their tinfoil hats we probably could have ganked the guy before his backup came.

We did have our foil hats on, but more like "is lilly taken over by fw?" but we were in ruptures, had to upgrade to canes. yell at max for keeping the big guns in gulm, i keep telling him to move them to amamake... oh, on the other hand, did you read my sig?

Would you like me to forward the mail sent to me from Ken Plante showing me how to fit an armor nano zealot? Or the ones from Steave and Lillith showing me other ways of making an armor tank work with your nano gangs?
No, what happened was, I got killed using the fits your leadership told me to use, people started giving them sh!t about it, so I got booted. And the expensive fit ships might have had something to do with it, but I was 70:10 in the 5 days I was there and I could afford to lose it, so I wasn't doing badly at all.
And yes, I look forward to seeing you as well
Yes, you were told to use an armor nano ship since you were unable to use shield mods and thus it was the only option available to work at all in our nano gangs.
You had no idea about how to actually fly your ships, when to fly what or how to report intel properly though, combined with being extremely stubborn when given advice on what to change, proving that you couldn't understand why you were supposed to make those changes.
Looking forward to seeing you in Ama again, will most likely not need any other money maker except for killing you now.

So what if there are already plenty of pirate corps out there--plenty of them suck, and others have distinguishing characteristics that aren't for everyone.
So, since this is an advertisement of sorts, tell us Lady Lard what distinguishes Resistance Project from the pack? Or, if you're just like some of the other corps, which corps are you just like? In other words, what sort of pilot are you recruiting?

Actually, you're right. I didn't know how to fly the way you fight. I didn't know how to fight in the exact same place in the same system every single day. I didn't know how to fight expecting a blob to land at any second. I didn't know how to fight while outnumbered 50:1. So no, I wasn't a good fit.
And it wasn't a resistance to taking criticism or advice, I was more than willing to listen. I just refused to listen to you, Steave. Frankly, you have the most excruciating voice I've ever heard in my life. You speak without any emotion, completely monotone. But yet with no inflection in your speaking, you still manage to be one of the most condescending douchebags I've ever met. I've never encountered someone in a video game who actually speaks to people with the attitude that since you're speaking, I should be listening and be glued to every word. I usually spent most of the time listening to you wishing you would just shut the **** up.
See you in top belt.
Ok, now onto the productive question.
No, we're not just another pirate corp. We are the only active Angel Cartel affiliated corp in Eve. Former Ghost Festival CEO and Naraka director Aria Jenneth has signed on for a directorship along with some old friends from FRICK/MC/IT.
Where most pirate corps pick an area of low sec to operate out of and spend their time chasing targets, RESPR embraces the Cartel way of doing things and moves all over. I issued a declaration of war against the Star Fraction with just 8 members and am accepting a merc contract this weekend. I'm making a statement that we will fight anyone, anywhere.
Plans are in the works for booster trafficking, Angel missioning, slave trade (There's RP people who do it), low sec pvp, FW griefing and asset denial, espionage, merc contracts, 0.0 patrols, wh ransoming... basically everything you can think of dealing with crime or combat, we have a hand in it. Oh and we're going to re-take Curse. If you're not blue, you're a target and so far there's only 7 people in eve set to blue.
The RP aspect of the corp is optional. I don't force anyone to do it, but it's there if people choose to indulge. So far, it's shaping up to be pretty fun and we've got a great base to build from.
If anyone wants more information or wishes to engage in diplomacy, RESIST AND DEFY is our pub.

Pity, those are the FUN fights.. Especially fun when you get away with it (ie, pop their stuff before the blob gets there, or even better, pop their fleet when it does arrive).
I used to prefer small gang v small gang too. Its great fun.. But small gang v big blob AND YOU WIN is even better..
I actually didn't like you until you posted that..

Well I actually enjoyed the few I was in. I kind of wanted to stay, but BANE had neither the desire nor the time to teach me what they apparently felt I should already know.
v0v
And I spend my time docked up in that station maybe because I just started a new corp by myself? I've got to recruit, find staging areas, get TS set up, put a website together and do the other 3478423653894 things that come along with starting a corp by yourself. No, I don't enjoy staying in station for days, but hey... sh!ts gotta get done.
I did war dec The Star Fraction, so I'm gonna be taking a break to kill some crazy radicals who like to RP as hookers in their free time

That's what happens with people I've pretty much given up on. When I need to explain something extremely obvious for someone for the 10th time, it's hard to really care anymore, and yes, I may turn a bit condescending when someone that should know better and should understand something from the start without any help need to get it explained to them repeatedly and still don't get it.
You were at the point where you either had to turn around completely and show that you could indeed learn our style, and that would mean you would have had to consider the word of any of us that already know it as gospel until you knew enough to be able to decide on your own what rules can be broken and when/why.
Quote: Actually, you're right. I didn't know how to fly the way you fight. I didn't know how to fight in the exact same place in the same system every single day.
Why should I move around when I can un**** at almost any time of the day knowing that I can almost certainly have a fun fight within at most 5 minutes in my home system?
Quote: I didn't know how to fight expecting a blob to land at any second. I didn't know how to fight while outnumbered 50:1. So no, I wasn't a good fit.
You say this like if fighting like that was bad in any way. This proves that you have never felt the rush of dodging a big blob of hostiles and picking of a few at a time and then warp away from your 50 hostiles with a few (or more) kills while taking no losses. The ability to fight that way is what distinguishes the skilled PvPers from the grunts that can only sit in 1 spot, lock whatever the FC called and f1-f8 (or just F1 with the new weapon groups).
With someone like you in the lead, there is no way that corp will turn into a good one.
As a side note, if anyone is stupid enough to actually want to join a corp like his, keep in mind he used to be running recruitment scams as a goon, expect the same treatment here that you would from them.

Well first, since I made this thread to get advertisement, I truly appreciate the fact that, although you claim not to care, you sure are making a fine effort supplying this thread with frequent bumps and walls of text.
That's how you talk to people you've given up on? You had the same excruciatingly monotone voice when I contacted you for the interview. You're an elitist, ****y, arrogant douc!hebag.
I loved the way you guys fought. 50:1 was awesome and I enjoyed it. It just wasn't something I was used to... nano gangs wasn't something I was used to or experienced in. You don't jump into a completely different style of pvp and get good at it in a matter of days, especially with no help.
No matter... you're an ass and you think I'm fail so, let's just leave it at that.
By the way, you have no idea of my ability to run a corp or any idea of how to run one yourself. But please, keep with the bashing, you're giving me free press.
And about the Goons thing... You find me a Goon who says they never ran a recruitment scam and I'll find you a liar.
Cheers

No, you didn't know how to fly period. the negative KB points explained that. And you don't know how to fit a ship. Even a noob knows that once you use plates you're pretty much making nanofibers pointless.
