They've been working on it for years, they're just trying to get it finished and done with.
Besides, the people working on it would just go to dust if they decided to delay it more. |

Agreed, the more things you can do the better, especially when this feature is something completely different and refreshing. I only hope that they keep adding stuff to it in the future and of course also expand other "big features" from previous expansions :)
Only downside is that you can use Incarna in a wormhole, since you can't dock in a pos :(

I'm looking forward to Incarna. It's been delayed forever, and I'm glad they're pushing to get it out.
Incarna will bring more users to the game, while keeping the core game exactly the same, and will result with CCP having more $$ to spend on Eve.

If you really believe that drivel then CCP's marketing people have succeeded.
Incarna has NOTHING to do with EVE. The primary reason EVE is getting it forced upon it, is so we can pay to be beta testers for the software for World Of Darkness MMO, everything else is just fluff designed to make people believe it's for the betterment of EVE itself, and to appease the "ooh, shiny" crowd.
You do like paying to be a beta tester, don't you... ?

I'd like to walk in stations so I can complain about how it doesn't work as previously advertised for several months-years.
In reality it depends if there is anything captivating to do, either making isk, killing things etc. IF the content is there great but I don't have faith it will be, at least not in the first iteration and I think many of us know that the following iterations tend to be spin control focused instead of development.

If the last 3 or 4 expansions have been abandon within weeks of release....
What makes you think WoD developers will be put back on EveOnline in 2 years time?
heh.... What makes CCP think there will still be ppl playing when they come back to Eve.

Why would WoD devs be put back on EVE? They shouldn't be and propably will not be. WoD deserves it's own dedicated dev team just like EVE. I'm sure some devs will get loaned to other projects at times and people get suffled around the company, but there will be a steady number of people working on a project at all times.
CCP can rely on people playing for the reasons you just posted. Even with the abandoning of some features this game has improved at a steady pace over the years even with constant little setbacks. Some frenzied people will not come back, but rabid forum poasting of butthurt people isn't going to make me forget how good the game is and how it has improved over time.
Also, what is happening now isn't anything that hasn't happened before to some extent. Fixes and development on existing features has always been a secondary priority. Fixing old stuff happens but the majority of expansions have focused on bringing new centent, and every time people have complained how unnecessary that particular addition is to their game and CCP should have done this or that instead. Incarna isn't any different and it is work done for EVE even though the work also benefits WoD development. It will mean your issue is unlikely to be fixed during the next 18 months, but that would have been the likely case(for your pet issue) even without the current push to deliver incarna.
The only big issue EVE currently has is the lag and that problem has a team working on it. The results have been disappointing so far, but it is being worked on as it should be, since it makes a core feature of EVE unplayable and affects the general gameplay negatively to a lesser degree. Most of the other issues do deserve attention, but are minor issues in comparison or just things that would be nice to have in the game. The game is still solid and after people get the initial raging out of their system they will remember that.

Aside from your obvious misunderstanding of the word nothing your post is full of nonsense. It is however the exact same nonsense I've seen from opinionated morons all over the forums the last few weeks.

Blah blah blah, lag, rockets, 90%, eve is dying, one, eleven, blah blah
EVE is great, PVP is as balanced as it's ever been. All the players not trying to have 1k v 1k fleet fights are able to engage. As soon as the alliances get 1k lag free they will bring 2k and whine about how their playstyle is the "endgame" and deserves preferential treatment.
More features = more subscriptions = EVE lives longer = You get to keep playing. Six years of constant steady growth lends a lot more credibility to CCP's ability than your carbon copy requote lends to yours.

WoD Devs = Incarnia Devs = Eve Devs = Gone.
I don't expect them to be put back onto EveOnline, the game we pay them to maintain.
I imagine that they'll manage to release Incarnia, Dust, WoD.
Then move onto fixing those with the vague hope of hiring new devs for Eve. As is currently the case they probably won't be able to attract those devs, with Eve devs working full-time maintaining WoD and Dust they may well fail to maintain WoD, Dust, Eve, and CCPGames.
They have afterall failed to maintain EveOnline expansions for some time now.
The thing I worry about has nothing to do with a pet issue.

A perfectly viable solution if CCP would design EVE to be a small scale PVP game. Sadly it isn't (and you'd know this if you had any PVP/0.0 experience whatsoever). ___________________ "It was mentioned by CCP that the data does not seem to support that polished quality sells better than new features."
