CN Invul - 400m or 180,000 LP, 72,000,000 Isk and a gazillion tags. IN EANM - 40m or 9,000 LP, 3,600,000 Isk and 10x less tags. Why?

Because invuls provide a lot more resist (being active) and shield tanking is generally easier to throw ISK at than it is with armor tanking.
CN Invul provides a strong 37.5% resist to everything which can be overheated if necessary. Couple that with another and a deadspace booster and you can have a very mean tank needing only 3-4 midslots.

It's also worth noting that CN invulns are the last step before the 10+billion isk officer invulns. |

There are two main reasons invulns are so much more expensive than EANMs:
1) Lower supply - Since there are no deadspace invuln fields (Would be nice if a Pith X-type existed) as the previous poster indicated, you jump straight from faction invulns to officer invulns with nothing in between. Everyone wanting something better than T2 is stuck with either a CN/DG invuln or a super-expensive officer version.
2) Higher demand - most mission runners use tengus, ravens, golems, or CNRs, all of which shield tank. While the high end EANM market is mostly dominated by armor tanking capital and supercapital pilots, the high end invuln market involves both mission runners and shield tanking capitals/supercaps.

Faction Invuls give you 37.5%. A tech 2 variant gives you 30%. Faction is 25% better and uses much less cpu (27 tf vs 44 tf).
Faction ENAM give you 22.5%. A tech 2 variant gives you 20%. Faction is only 12.5% better and only marginally less cpu usage (30 to 36 tf)
At max armor compensation skills the faction ENAM gives you 28.5%, the Tech 2 25%.
ENAMS use no cap while Invuls do.
However you can overheat Invuls, which can save your ass in many occasions.
Faction Invul gives you 44% and the tech 2 gives you 36%.
Shield Tankers simply have things better, if you have money you can achieve some crazy tank, while Armor tanking is fairly limited.
