righty, im a big fan of scanning ships down and scamming pilots down to boot, what i find a chore when im scanning for someone is that i have to meticulously reposition my scan probes every time i change their scan size, now im not all that lazy that i just want it simplified its just i use 5 probes to cover a nicer are (don't educate me on your preferred layout for the probes i use a diamond formation myself)
BUT! when you get to 4-2AU etc it can be a real pain to have to zoom in and reposition for a target you know is moving real fast, is there no way we can just have a formation tab that memorises the formation of the drones at each different scan size. for instance my formation at 32AU would be spread very far out so if i chose that one and had a 1au scan range it would look like space had a couple pimples, keep the size and hit the formation for 1-2AU and look there i my diamond formation ready to shift drag to a location of my choice.
any thoughts?

It would be even nicer if you could just select all your probes and move them all at the same time, so no matter what odd formation you got you can still drag them all at the same time not losing your formation.
(not calling your formation odd lol). |

Use simplier probing formations. For example 4 probes, pulla on probe down, one probe left and move last one by hand to the last corner. It takes about 5s to do this formation.
In my opinion probing should not be done any easier than it is now.
