Hi
I understand that creating a jump clone costs 100K for each clone you make but is there a fee for each time you actually use a Jump Clone ?

No fees. Just a 24h timer after each clonejump in which no clonejump can be made.
P.S. Also, your "old body" becomes a jumpclone (including all implants on it) in the station you were currently in, even if the station has no medbay. You can return to it (or any of the other jumpclones) after the 24h timer.

One more note. You can have only 1 jumpclone per station.
Let's say I have a jumpclone at station A and one at station B. I want to jump to B from my current "body". Well, I better not be at station A. If I am, then when I jump my current body becomes station A's jumpclone, and the jumpclone that had been there is gone to never land.

Umm... I think this is incorrect. I've jumped from my current clone to a jumpclone in the current station without any issues. Unless I misread your statement, that is.

This often confuses people. You need to think of active and inactive bodies. Your active body is what you fly around in.
When you jump into a clone, that clone becomes active and the one you just jumped out of becomes inactive.
You can fly your active body into a station and jump to a clone in that station. You have one active and one inactive body, you just swap between them.
Here's an example of what you can't do:
Fly to a station where there's already a jump clone (an inactive body). You can't jump to a clone in a different station from there. Reason is that would leave 2 inactive bodies in the station - which you can't do. One would be destroyed.
The rule is 'you can't have 2 inactive bodies in a station'.
Another way to look at it: If you think of your jump clones as empty bodies, and you just move your brain from one to another. Stations are limited to storing one body per character. The body with the brain in it is free to visit though. ______________________ Agony Unleashed Home of the PvP University |

Actually, that means you've had ONE JUMP CLONE in that station. You just had a Jump Clone and one Live Clone in that station. When you JC you just switched the live clone for the jump clone.
Now try having a Jump Clone in your current station and try jumping to another jump clone in another station. This will warn you that you cannot jump clone without destroying the jump clone.
And i know this is confusing as hell.
So Ill restate
Only one clone you are not in, per station. and further more why do i even need a sig? |
