So I just searched wikipedia for Enheduanni and dsicovered not that exact word but probably something along the lines of where the origins of their name came from. Pretty interesting, eh?

Everyone except Pottsey is either sick and tired of the Enheduanni, or hates the idea in general. Leave it be.

Perhaps sometimes, but mostly something else, keep thinking along those lines. When you get it, it's a major Ah + .

She would probably fly Sin as its God of Moon.
It could also mean that First Jove Empire is still alive but probably imprisoned in WH space) as only those of royal blood were alowed to be priests of said god.

My opinion is my own and nothing but my own. Before putting words in my mouth, it might help to ask for clarification if you are confused. |

Aside from a lot of speculation Enheduanni were never mentioned before or after the short story by TonyG.
From a storytelling point of view they are another big Deus Ex Machina, but this universe has also a lot of others that fit into the same class.
Personally I have nothing against the mentioning of Enheduanni but they definatly need be fleshed out on their background and their relation with the pre-collapse civilisation and the first generation of re-emerging ones (Talocan, Sleeper etc. )

They are not, if taken in the usual sense of a contrived plot fixing mechanic. In Theodicy they are part of the story more precisely they are one of the lead charaters.
I think they are interesting because they seem to be not very powerful at all. I think they use the powers they do have to steer societies. It could be somewhat along the lines of Foundation of Isaac Asimov. If I remember correctly in Foundation they had so much knowledge about human behaviour they could by just small changes steer the course of history in a particular direction. Long lasting peace in Foundation and War for the Enheduanni.
If again I remember correctly the problem in Foundation were statistical anomalies or something along those lines. A single person or event that had big effects and changed the cause of events. So who are the unpredictable force in New Eden? And who made them happen? Add to that the butterfly effect and everything makes sense again.
