1 Getting stuck on an asteroid when trying to warp out of the field really annoying in a slow ship when i have to first fly above the belt and then be able to warp out - please make it so we can warp straight through them
2 Targeting crosshair - aesthetically displeasing to the eye and distracting too! it's too big ! the white box with the spinning triangles. Could you insert an option where i can remove it completely ?
3 Griefers creating corps then recruiting noobs just to kill them in high sec without concord intervention. I feel this will ruin their gameplay experience of eve and if they lose their most expensive ship (everything they own) .. could lose you guys potential business. I recommend a warning box before joining any new corp saying something like 'If you join a corporation you can be killed by your corp members do you wish to proceed ?' ... or something along those lines.
If anyone has any other changes or improvements to the game feel free to post in this thread below my suggestions. 'Constructive' feedback is also welcome, thanks

1 After awhile you start making it a point to be sure you're clear before trying to warp.
2 You can turn that off in options.
3 Never seen that actually happen, but i bet CCP would have a few things to say to them if it did.

1. Why are you getting go close to the astroids?
2. I like how big it is. Especially when you are trying to spam target someone who just undocked or uncloaked off the gate. Lets you know its happening now.
3. Meh, nothing you can do to stop *******s.

Stop trying to warp to something directly on the other side of an asteroid and this won't be a problem.
You can warp through stuff -- once you're actually in the warp tunnel. Until your ship enters the tunnel, you're in realspace with the rest of regular matter and must maneuver around large objects like asteroids.

It's there to let you know which of the many ships surrounding you is your target. It's supposed to grab your attention.
You would purposely make the game more difficult by not being able to instantly tell which target you're firing at?

EVE Online harsh game, all about risk. This is just one of many ways a newbie could be discouraged from playing the game. They will either deal with it or leave, and warning them about all potential dangers wouldn't help matters. ---------- I am a criminal, doing dirty deeds dirt cheap. If you have passed your trials and want to pursue a criminal career, I run a corp that you should look into joining. |

I can't help it, but it makes me really sad when it happens. I wish it did make you take damage.

Not cause it would make the game better or more realistic, but for the lolz. It's like bein popped by history

I've heard about CCP taking action against people baiting new players with cans to kill them, so it seems there are exceptions to the rule when it comes to very new players.

The only exception is baiting with cans that say "free skillbooks" outside of the starter systems' stations, you can't do that. Tbh, I took the bait once in a new alt, and had a HIC and 2 HACs chasing me, in a frigate flown by a day old character. It was quite bizarre tbh...

A new alt does not get the protection a new player does.

I realize that. I wasn't complaining about it, just pointing out the strange fact that for some reason, chasing around noobs in tech 2 cruisers seems to entertain people. Also, they didn't know I was an alt until a later convo.

It's not strange. They're helping people stay away from the failfest that is EVE.

Intersting tidbit to follow:
When i first did the tutorial, I got my Ibis stuck on one of those giant barren asteroid LCOs, it took me 10 minutes to realise you could double click in space to move away
