Hmmm ... honestly, is it good, at least some? Fun? anything?
been watching videos and besides the Bf2142 titan fight on the promo video I can't seem to get any feeling on it.
Crash Course on it?
I'm in my semestral LOTRO Burn phase and currently just pumping up my capsuleer to the 100 Million SP's mark , would love to do something different meanwhile.
or Any good reccomendation for a good game to burn time? ---

Dunno if 4x rts games are your thing but AI War just got a major update recently that changed many aspects of the core game and has imo made it the best space based 4x rts ever. And don't let the sprite based graphics fool you. He had to go that route as you can literally field 10,000+ ship fleets near the endgame and face even larger fleets if you screw up. Oh its also a puzzle game in that you have to pick and choose the planets you take from the ai or face its unstoppable wrath if you get it too 'angry' along with several tower defense game elements all put to a grand scale.
Its also a very long game when you play at the higher difficulty levels and the largest maps. 100+ hour campaigns to kill off the two opponent ai that is pretty much nonstop action the entire time is common. So I would start with a small map and low level ai as the game mechanics will take some getting used to due to it being quite different than the standard forumla rts. Oh and he hasn't updated the tutorial yet for the new core mechanics but you should still get a pretty good idea of the overall way to play it by trying it.

Absolutely, do NOT buy Global Agenda, no matter what people tell you. It's a terrible unfinished game that is slowly dying, and has no content.
Now, with that out of the way..
Do you have console(s)?
If yes, RED DEAD REDEMPTION IS YOUR ANSWER. Look no further.
If computer only, play some ALIEN SWARM (free from Steam), get some source games going, maybe some Dawn of War 2 / Company of Heroes or Starcraft 2 if you like RTS stuff... get your big goofy shooter kick from TF2 or if you want more open world business, Just Cause 2 is absolutely ridiculous fun.. not a flawless game but lots of endless exploration / run around blowing up stuff over massive beautiful terrain (and probably cheaper than Mafia 2, which might be fun but I have a looming suspicion is a bit overrated amidst the current buzz).
Oh, and I almost forgot. I just made you read my signature. |

Naw, quite underrated actually. It easily compares to the first one and the storytelling is up there with the best of them, I can't really name a game which does it better. The game play is quite awesome (It's nothing complex or innovating but that's not always the best route to go, and IMO it works exactly like it should in Mafia 2) and although linear the world is so polished that the linearity is lost in the immersion. Why would you drive down to the market to beat up some random hobo when you're living the life of a 1950's gangster?

because supporting a game by a self publishing entity who takes there payers feedback and builds on it, the game has come leaps and bounds since its feb launch.
its tf2, but with more progression, better balance imo and its fun to just sit and chill on and at ú16 its a steal tbh... -----------------------------------------------

upto lvl 12 which in itself is limiting, but it gives you plenty of room to try the game out and see if you enjoy it -----------------------------------------------
