Hi there,
Short and simple: remove the sovereignty requirement for the capital ship maintenance array. I'm not saying allow super caps/caps to be built where ever, but this will allow people in higher class wormholes to store their caps without having to just jettison them all over the place inside the shield. The maintenance array doesnt allow any special services (IE: it doesnt allow a corp to suddenly be able to make supercaps/caps some place they wernt already allowed to do this, it's just a storage space, like the regular ship maintenance array, just bigger.
I guess a midsized ship maintenance array would work in this idea's stead. |

If CSSMA was allowed to be anchored any where, everyone who could afford one would own a Mothership (not Supercarrier) since they wouldn't need a dedicated parking alt to hold it for them.

I still dont see a problem... that just means there are super caps sitting in a maintenance array in a pos in lowsec. They'll more than likely go afk for a month, the pos will go offline, and (cue whining) massive amounts of grief.
Sounds pretty eve-ish to me. |

good idea overall, couple questions/comments:
- maybe limit them to 0.0 security space?
- increase the fitting reqs and space so that only one array can be placed in a pos at any given time?

What if there was a lowsec/no-sov variant that required a token amount of CPU? That would probably be effective in limiting usage to active groups who can support it. (Also, could make delicious targets.)

I'd be okay with that - though, the CPU requirement might be a bit too harsh... unless you can still eject ships if its offline. IDK - still needs something. |

Either follow this idea or let supers dock. Quite frankly, as a supercap pilot, the ship is not utilized all the time and it is rather ridiculous to basically kill an account because the character is sitting in a ship that's not being used atm. I agree with not allowing them to be manufactured everywhere, but storing them should not be an issue.
