I'm working on some original fiction and there are a few questions I have just so I don't screw up the continuity.
1) When did Otro Gariushi become the CEO of Ishukone? (YC date)
2) If you die when you're outside of your pod, what happens to you?

2) This could be argued for a long time. But i belive that your brain is passivly scanned when out of pod and during normal activity. Its only when in a pod and about to die does the implant in your head take a snapshot that kills you. From what i have read their is no real set canon about what happens. But i doubt us capsuleers are afraid of dying outside our pod. their must be a back up to prevent perma death.
edit: In the empyrean age, the broker operated several clones at once and they were a few times he died and still carried on. so your guess is as good as mine
Make it up i would say

With respect to question #2...
There's a lot - and I mean a lot - of debate if we have out-of-capsule backup clones; some players say we have something called "softscan" clones which are activated on a death outside of the capsule. The scanning process to create such a clone, however, is lengthy and requires bulky equipment, preventing it from being an instantaneous "snapshot" the way our capsules are; instead, it reverts back to whatever memories you had when you were last scanned (how often you are scanned is up to your 'toon).
See here for a much longer discussion on whether there is PF backing for Softscan clones. ----------------------------------------------
Say "Amarr ships suk, lol." I dare you.
