So, recently 2 of a certain director's ships in my corp vanished. We petitioned and asked if they would be so kind as to tell us what their fate was (Stolen, Blown up in ship hanger of pos/capital, w/e).
The GM responds by telling us to watch their new trailer. THEN they'll tell us.
WAIT WHUT? 
I already play the game.....your trailers are nice but I don't need you telling me we need to watch em to get a respond to ingame petitions

dat part of the need 4 speed initiative mercenaries group attacking AAAtlas which got pwned by PLegionofXXDeath who are also RAlliance, and nao all of the ex Atlas corps are joining IT? I heard all the titans they lost were defecting there. Also I heard supercarriers are the new bs?

I, for one, welcome our new Russian overlords, (My name is Lord's Servant after all) but does CCP have to be so overt about it?

Apparently CCP saw that the general EVE player base is filled with egotastic ignorant pricks that deem their own hulks and e-peens more important than the entire social structure, hierarchy and workings of an alliance/corporation (read: ragedisbands) so they figured: "hey, if lotsa people behave likes pricks in game they must enjoy it, so lets ADVERTISE it as game content!".. God knows they can't really advertise any actual game content as there simply isn't anything worthwhile to do out in space other than lag/desync/bug the **** out... and so a trailer is born.
FYI I haven't watched it either, I'm boycotting it too \o/

In other related news about CCP's trailers...lag hits an all time high, players ***** about how its shown in trailers and advertised....... next trailer is about epic corp theft (or so Ive heard) which involves NO UNDOCKING FROM STATION / occurs in low lag situations. Now is it just me or is something a touch fishy here.... =P

Fortunately for all, perhaps people do not remember history. Or natural selection. Revealing ones identity before one is ready can be rather scary. Sometimes a pre-emptive strike is handy. After a battle, careful analysis is usually required. Knowing this, one can typically predict the outcome of a battle. Enter now this new age we shall! Never again shall krullz go afk from eve again.
Evermore will he rule cdi. Master, protector and ceo. Pirating perhaps? Individually, maybe. Returneth krullz has. Eve will never be the same :)
