It means for everybody to start warp disrupting a random target, not the primary. Once you have somebody warp distrupted, call out "point on foo in a bar" or something similar. If somebody calls a point on the guy you were about to point, point something else.
The FC basically does this when the other side gives the retreat order to be able to minimize the number of the other fleet that can get away.

A "point" is something that keeps the enemy from warping off, IE a warp disruptor has one point, a scrambler has 2 points and a focused warp disruption script has infinite points.
So saying to "spread your points" is trying to get the maximum number of people warp scrambled so they can't leave

Because warp strength is measured in points.

The above posters are trolling you.
"spread your points" is the command to all the really fat people in fleet to spread their weight more evenly on their chairs. This is to ensure that no `point` ( chair leg) bears too much weight and becomes in danger of breaking and causing harm to the overweight occupant.

More commonly known as dynamic load balancing.
Something Tranquility is severely lacking.

Now that's done, I feel the need to expand to say most disruptors are 1 point out to 20-24km, scramblers are 2 but only to 9km and turn MWDs off, some faction ones are 3 points, HICs have infinipoint, warp core stabalisers are -1point each... what else? |

All Deep Space Transports and the Skiff have an inherent +2 warp core strength. Bubbles are effectively an infinite number of points too, but they never turn off MWDs. Even if you have enough warp stabs (or ship bonuses) to counter a Warp Scrambler, your MWD is still unuseable. ___________ EVE is dying! Now for real! |
