Quote: Would have been far more dodgy if we tried to keep it a secret tbh, but instead we used it in an obvious fashion. We knew R&K would find out immediately and would try to reproduce it, though of course we prefered if they took longer to duplicate it. Either way, we had the ok given by a senior GM so we didn't feel the need to hide it in pvp. Scream for blood all you want, but this has been known by CCP since february.
(emphasis by me)
Yet again i am discussed by CCP knowing of players using an obvious unintended game-mechanic to their advantage and doing nothing about it untill it get's out and players start demanding answers! Yet again my faith is shattered in CCP not only upholding fair play, but also thorrowly testing every possible result a newly implemented game mechanic might have. And when we start asking questions about it, they treat US as being the bad guys and lock, or even remove, our threads.
And to those who say this effect is working as intended: the locking of threads and removing of links to same subject in forums on other websites clearly shows this issue to be an exploit:

Quote: Hey guys,
I've locked this thread for several reasons: there's a discussion about an exploit or possible exploit; there's circumvention of moderator action; there's discussion of moderator action.
There are two courses of action when an exploit or possible exploit has been discovered by players:
1. file a bug report. 2. file a petition.
Discussing this on the forums is a violation of the forum rules. As is circumventing and/or discussing moderator action. The best course of action if you're displeased with a moderator action is to file a report under Community.
Obviously,.. filing a bug report or a petition didn't work in the first place!

So apparently they deem it a bug and exploit now, stop nagging and getting your forum account banned over it. It will be addressed. It only works in C6 Magnatars anyway.

Hello jimera muroaga,
The forum rules are quite explicit about discussing exploits or potential exploits on the forums:
13. Do not post about bugs and exploits.
Bugs and exploits should be reported through the proper method by filing a report for our Quality Assurance department. You can find the form here. Discussions about unverified problems in the game can cause unnecessary panic in the community. When there is an issue the community needs to be aware of, we will make an official statement about it.
We are aware of the issue and it is being investigated. Further thread son the issue are not going to speed that investigation up or resolve the issue any quicker. No matter what happens, the discussion of exploits and potential exploits is not permitted.
Locked.
