with regards to the "No Reason" part.
A while back missiles were made "Un-interactable" due to an exploit where people would bookmark stealthbomber's missiles and warp to them, this has obviously since been changed, but the change seems far too "simple" as im sure they just switched a variable from "True" to "False" with regards to being able to interact with missiles in flight.

And with regards to the particle issue, its most likely to do with CCP setting the clouds to have a higher render priority than explosions. What structure did you destroy to get the clouds to bug out?

that was just the gas could in the background, and massive missile explosions around my ship.
