CCP please stop sending the 'EVE Online - Subscription Renewal Reminder' mails. This mails are an open invitation to criminals to forge phishing mails like this! You actually put a link to the account management page into this email! Are you drunk?
Also it is time to implement something like the secure id token other MMOs have.

If you file a bug report, they'll send you an email including your account name. And email + account name is all you need to get a password reset and then to do whatever. And for character sales you also have to give out the account name.
Their whole security thing is full of holes.

While the mail does contain your username, I think it's a good thing (as it assist me to keep track of the expiration). However I would suggest that you can turn it off, just like the newsletter so for those who don't want it and/or feel it is a security risk will not get notified.
ofc the other way to not get it would be to extend your account before the 6 days left.

Protip, don't click on any links in any emails. (with a few obvious exceptions)
You should know how to manually get to anywhere such a link would want to send you. (again, with a few obvious exceptions)
Lazyness is the biggest security flaw.

If CCP wants only smart and security aware people to play EVE they should require an acceptance test for new accounts. They should not put up traps to sort them out later!

I bow to your wisdom in- and out of game. I admire and praise you. And you made my day by honoring this thread. This doesn't work for PayPal though.
