Edited by: quave on 20/09/2010 06:19:02 Post anything new you find in here.
The shortcuts window in the esc menu has been improved, shortcuts organised by type - Window, General, Navigation, Combat, Ship, Drones.
Edit; tested on TQ, these are new shortcuts.
Q+mouse1 = Warp to W+mouse1 = Approach E+mouse1 = Trigger special action (docking, ect) A+mouse1 = keep at range C+mouse1 = Show info alt+mouse1 = look at (oops, old one) S+mouse1 = Orbit D+mouse1 = Align to
Also i think we have new explosions, can't test as i lost the ability to blow things up, my ship blew up and I can't right click to get into a new one.

why not click and drag the ship from the ships view and then over your pod should then change it no right click needed The only problem with Common Sense is it is not that common anymore |

I wouldn't mind having one for warp to at range though
... I can't seem to right click either.

Damn, have to hop to SiSi, if they'd revised some particular module effects too... -- "Entering MH means instant death. It's worse than 0.0. Even the asteroids shoot back." - Alex Harumichi [GRD]

I was thinking maybe some module effects had been improved. I noticed my Civ Railgun on my Ibis (currently the only ship within 30 jumps of FD I can use!) did look a little more attractive than I remember. -- Quantum Forge |

You can assign numbers as hotkeys (without mod keys) now, some of the default hotkeys are changed too. Attributes are written to one decimal place in the character screen, there's also a new tab for PLEXes. Also, you can resize EVE in windowed mode, but that's been mentioned in many previous threads already.

Not a big fan of the "new" npc explosions, they just look like the drone explosions slighly recoloured.
When scanning, instead of getting a red dot, you get a red plex icon (like a cyno beacon).
The map feels different somehow, I think the controls for it have been reversed.

Not sure I am a big fan of the enormous drone explosions. It took me somewhat by surprise when it first happened, and I thought my three fleet mates had all just detonated.

If you board a ship in space. There's little green goo where your pod was for a few seconds.

I haven't seen the new explosions yet, but I would hope they can tailor the effect based on size of the exploded thingy.
I hope they give us floating debris too

I think this is a side effect from them fixing the camera controls, it's not as jerky anymore and doesn't require you to lift the mouse while zooming all the way out/in.
I do hope the new camera tweaks make it, IIRC- they've been tweaked before but never made it onto live.
