Hey, I'm looking for a ship that I can fit to complete the epic arc The Blood-Stained Stars, and hopefully progress into level 2 missions, but that's not a big deal, I can still run around in level 1s.
The main issue I have is skills and ISK, I have about 2.3m ISK, and I don't have any skills that aren't Caldari as far as ships are concerned. Can anyone suggest a loadout for a ship that I can afford (or would soon be able to afford), and any suggestions on what to go for next?
Thanks.

This caracal fit is pretty effective and easy on the wallet. Only problem is that the hull cost something like 2.4 million.
I strongly suggest that you DO NOT sell your existing ratting ship. Don't fly what you can't afford to lose. And if that other ship is your alternate isk source, then you can probably afford to lose the caracal.

go ninja salvage a few level 4s and you will have plenty of money to buy w/e you want.
I killed him with a pretty low skilled rupture, but I'm assuming you are (and have trained) caldari so a caracal should work well.

A Merlin is pretty cheap and can be fit to do some decent damage. If you add an AB you should be able to do a little speed tanking and Missiles will let you keep your distance so you can do some hit and run killing. You should be able to fit it well within your price range. Just use nanofiber modules to make it light and fast as possible with your skills.

Personally, I blew it off after losing a Cormorant and a Caracal on the 2nd to last zergfest mission, and waited 'till I was able to fly a Drake and go back and not have to worry about throwing more good ISK down a rat hole. :P
