My name is John, and I have been leading groups and guilds through games for the last 15 years or so. Since Doom and Diablo came out and we played over crossover cables (actually started with Wizardry 1 which is still one of my favorites). I dont have time for that anymore, and handed over the couple hundred members of our WoW guild to trusted friends, which has been running since beta testing started.
I would like to join and learn how Eve really works from people that know, so I ask this:
Are there any Corperations that meet this criteria, that also will train new players? 1 - No constant chat about useless info? 2 - Is willing to train somebody that will do what the are told to do? 3 - Can take on somebody that has a job with inconsistant hours? 4 - Lives in Hawaii. 5 - I am wulling to fill any role, do whatever I'm told, and still smile and have fun. 6 - And willing to teach me?
Thanks, John

They exist, but finding them is the hard part.
Perhaps you'll have some luck in the recruitment section of the forums.

As above for corps, you can also find what you are looking for in the 'Mentors' channel, where we offer non-partisan help and advice to anyone, regardless of corporation.

I can't offer you a corp as I stopped my pvp training corp due to lack of non-idiots, and it's almost impossible to find a corp that has no idiots, non-effort lazy people or "look at us blobbing the crap out of stuff, we're l337 PVPers". So right now I'm corpless really.
However, if you have questions regarding the game, mechanics, "things one should know", combat and career choices, just send me a mail or catch me online. I don't have much of a clue on the whole carebearish side of EVE thoguh :)
To help you a little bit, check out my youtube channel, might be of use.

Check out the corp Guy Fawkes Trust Fund...they've been recruiting a lot. Wasn't my cup of tea (semi-mandatory T1 frig failroams ftl) but would be fine for a new player.

MARSOC Galactic is a mixed industrial, mission running, PVP corp.
We will not tell you want to do (until you're in a PVP fleet), but we will gladly lay out the options, let you try your hand at each, and help you do whatever it is that you enjoy doing.
A new player typically has to grind standings with corps running level 1 missions, until their standings are high enough to get level 2 missions, then level 3, etc. We run nightly L4 mission running operations, and will help with other missions that will unlock large numbers of agents for you.
A new player typically has to grind for a few thousands of ISK. Fly with us and you'll be dealing with missions of ISK instead of thousands.
Newer players have to figure out how training works, how to fit a ship, how to make money, etc. Join us, and we'll lay it all out for you.
We have a significant number of current and former military. That is not a requirement.
We have no manditory operations. We post operations as options for people to join in if they want, with no preasure if it is something you'd rather not do.
We have a well stocked corporate hanger with equipment you are free to take and use.
Join MARSOC Public channel in game, or send evemail to me or a corp officer.

All your requested needs are easy to meet John. It's just matter of searching and doing your homework.
Some of my guys are on West coast time and very helpful. I suggest looking for a corp that has structure but still makes it fun. Visit my corp website to see just how much we have to offer. http://www.ghfcorp.com/ And if our promo video doesn't say we're fun, then i don't know what does :)
