Mordus Headhunter mission does not warn you of impending waves of NPC.
Highly dangerous if you finish the first wave and decide to go afk.

Why would you go afk?
Been awhile since I had the mordus mission but I do believe there is(at least there was) a warning about multiple spawns. If you've done mordus a few times you know you could get lucky and get BIG mordu at the end

Alot of missions don't have that warning, so watch out. My level 4 blockade missions f.ex. consists of 5 waves, 4 of them containing at least 2 BS, which might be a surprise for those expecting to fight just those 4 or 5 cruisers in the first spawn.
On a side note, wouldn't do level 4 missions afk

I knew it had waves which is why I noticed on the Journal there isn't a warning. I never said I went afk. I was pointing about a possible situation due to the lack of warning.

It's a good heads up to anyone who hasn't done this mission before... ________________________________________________________

Hehe try the level 4 mordu. Have fun trying to break the Mordu Mammoth (1.5mil raven) shield tank. Or have even more fun getting the officer spawn and taking down the 5mil mordu fleet commander, in his raven, only to see him drop a basic power diagnostic and small shield booster.
Oh, the joy

Yes and no lol. U kill a shadow serp bs, and you have a good chance at an uber mod. Kill the mordu fleet commander, and you are lucky to even get a t1 item, much less a named one

Yeah was doing that one in my typhoon - long range setup. Went okay till I got to the mammoth - just could not get its shields down. Ended up having to go back to the station relaod and change my setup a bit to get a bit more DOT out of it.

Well idd there should be alitle extra for killing an officer. But guess these where the terms to get to kill BSs in empire.. _____________________________________________

There are terms for killing bs in empire? i dont remember signing anything. Wonder why we cant just get standard BS loot, and leave all the named stuff in 0.0 . IE , i kill a serpentis core elder (1mil) - he drops 1 425mm rail, large cap battery, 10 cap booster 800 charges. Surely that is just a little bit better (not to mention realistic) compared to the norm atm of a small shield booster, and 100 med uranium charges....
Most of the people that cry about this say that people wont come to 0.0 if we get good mission loot. Well believe it or not, i would rate level 4 missions as a lot harder than any npc spawn in 0.0 (barring large officer spawns deep in 0.0). So basically us mission runners get to fight the same rats as you, get 1/10 the quality of loot you get, have 1/100th the chance of a commander spawn u get, and our spawns come with a damn lot more escorts than most 0.0 npc hunters could handle.

The BS dont even worry me anymore (And I have fought my share in 0.0), its the 15 100K plus cruiser escorts that kick my butt. Even with 80% resist in their damage type and an XL C5-L going, my shields just go like nothing else.

The loot is crap because getting these 'spawns' from agent misisons is ridiculously easy, the bounty is generally enough already, and the area containing the 'spawn' is usually high enough sec rating that other players are not a risk. .

Yeh Raptor i gotta agree. Can tank 3 npc battleships, but as you said it is the swarms of cruisers that deal the real damage. I used to always focus on frigs, then bs, then cruisers. After learning the hard way, battleships are the last targets
