I noticed a comment from someone over in COAD and asked for more details about it. Below is the response I recieved.
I am putting it here because I'm sure by now all the PvP guys know about it and I want all the Industrialist's to find out before they become a statistic!
The way to nulify this tactic is to go out 200k or so from the WH openning and make a book mark. Then when you are jumping to the openning... fly to that 200k BM first to see what is going on there, and make another BM of the hole and then jump to that one you just made. It is more trouble but you are sure to reach the hole to jump through.

"Ever noticed how when youre camping a hole with ships it sometimes appears to move about? Well you're not going mad, it really is... by manually piloting a ship into the centre of the WH sphere (not right to the centre wil lexplain in a sec) and sitting there for several seconds the WH will shift position so that the spherical model is no longer on top of your ship. Whilst to you this might seem like nothing, thats only because due the the centre of the model being huge you will always appear at 0m. Now to shift it in one direction simply park your vessel a little to one side of the centre of the WH, the WH will always move in the opposition direction to where you are sat in relation to the centre of the model.
I have done this with my onyx, pushing the WH away so that people warping to its bookmark will simply land in space some distance off the hole, bubbling and then destroying the target before he makes it to within jump range. If this is an exploit I had no idea, hence why I am discussing this mechanic in good faith."

Because if you were in a HIC with the bubble up they weren't going to land some distance away from the hole anyway...

yes, most people warp to wormholes when they see a hic on scan.
The method described by the OP allows someone to move the wormhole then cloak a hic where it used to be. The player warps to their BM and land on a hic which uncloaks + bubbles.
Glad you were paying attention in pvp school

I'm actually surprised she didn't keep this a secret. I'll be doing all the crazy things necessary to not fall for this.

Yeah I noticed this as well but how long would it take to actually move it a substantial amount (lets say 10km)?
Too bad you can't bump WHs like ships

The amount of time to "move" a wh to a far enough distance just isn't worth it.
Considering the wh moves a couple of meters at a time, it would take hours to move it far enough to do any damage to anyone warping to the bm.
