Well anybody knows of a vnc software that has a 'viewer' which would not require installation on work PC, and allow me to access my PC to run EVE. Even if it's something basic as trading or autopiloting in highsec. noob since 2007 |

Thanks for your help (no, not really)

Be aware, that in most legal systems playing at work could terminate your job employment without notice.
That said you should check prior whether all necessary outgoing ports at your company are open to access your router. Some companies block nearly all ports and IT will definitively give you a call if you start VNC

Edited by: PleasureBabe on 30/09/2010 12:36:54 Edited by: PleasureBabe on 30/09/2010 12:33:57 Using VNC over a unsecure line is stupid anyway. port forwarding via ssh or use what the lad further up said, https. If you want to be sneaky at work at least do it properly. I don't have to :P I control my office network.
Having said that ... you will kill yourself for trying this cause the latency will be so bad that you will have a heart seizure while throwing a fit cause you died a horid death and got podded which in turn will lead to you're being fired.

You can connect via browser with TeamViewer. No need to install in both places, just at home :) I'm a "Shoot me I suck" specialist. |
