Are you ever going to get it right?
Buying something off the market pops local on top. Overview is more bugged than before, with a heap of cleaning/update errors. Double of everything when undocking, people from fleet showing as nothing at all (not even neutral) on overview when they should not be showing. etc etc etc

Anyone else having a problem with this new patch not even showing up in the auto update? I get nothing when I login on all three clients. There is no auto update for me, is there a link for a manual patch?

Downloaded 3rd patch.
Now when I log in, after character selection screen, instead of going into hanger I sometimes get a blank screen and need to quit game and restart.
I'm still seeing double items in overview, but cycling through different tabs in overview corrects it.

Information windows open in the center of the screen and not the top left hand corner as it use to, Station containers do not hold position even if pinned and will resize to wreck window position

Since receiving these new patches my FPS has gone through the floor. I used to run 2 clients on my machine with no problems both with the highly detailed video settings set. Now after these patches I've had to turn off all 'prettiness' in the video settings and have set everything up for 'high performance' just to be able to keep both clients running. With both clients running I'm averaging about 20fps now. If I turn off one of the clients I can get up to 40fps but that's what I was averaging on both clients prior to these patches.
My system is no slouch either, Quad core system, 6gb of ram, and a decent NVIDIA video card - not top of the line, but not el-cheapo special either.

Copying combat details from a kill, to your clipboard, results in a truncated copy!
Needless to say, killboards won't like this kind of input!

1. My ships will randomly stop. then go back to top speed, no lag or anything it actually says "ship stopping" 2. Problems with warp, some times i will just drop out of warp ( still have plenty of cap ) 3. My turrets some times just wont fire. 4. Loads of client crash's
This led to my ship being destroyed in a mission, as i wasnt able to warp out, I wasnt been warp scrammed, there was no warning to say "no you cant jump" or nothing on my overview showing any form of debuff or anything. I have even been mining and not been able to warp out, or in sometimes. its totaly random, I have however made a petition, about the above. But as of yet i have had no reply.
I understand that some times games have faults, bugs etc.... but i am paying my money to play this game ( which is a fantastic game )but i feel let down by the customer support. I am going to leave my petiton open fot 1 week, as i feel this is sufficient time to respond. If it has not been delt with, then i shall be rethinking about spending my money.

Same here , have had no problems with fps before but after downloading 3rd patch its dropped massively.

thanks for the warning, i will stay out of patch #3 until REALITY sets in with ccp mgmt.
CCP, HONESTLY, just use the OLD code base, give us ONLY the working align to bookmark, and drop the rest.
ITS OK to admit it was a screw up! honestly, but if you continue as you have so far, you won't be admitting anything to anyone because WE YOUR CUSTOMERS will have stopped listening.
Please drop the 50+ regressions we have seen with the new 'code base', and just use the old system+align to bookmark UNTIL SISI has it figured out ok?

ISSUE:
Pop-up window with description of new expedition doesn't appear anymore after Tyrannys 1.1 patch. You can only know about expediton you have got from the Cosmic Anomaly by checking "Expeditions" tab in Journal. This is so inconvenient! Please, CCP, give us back those description windows! |

Umah's bug list:
1) Can't drag bookmarks from cargo hold to People & Places folders while in space. Patch #3 NOT!!!
2) Modify orders: Extra space at end of "New sell price" number string. Patch #2
3) Window focus jumps to People and Places window while scrolling in separate (and stacked) People and Places folder window. Patch #2
4) Overview window: All items are sometimes duplicated. Patch #3 NOT!!!

Not happy CCP, although the 2nd optional patch fixed *most* of the issues, I am still getting a "double" overview where everything in the overview list is displayed twice.

You claim you release optional patches because they are quick to put out, but they don't actually fix the problems you claim them to fix. 3rd time lucky? Nope, are you going to go for Optional Patch 4 now CCP?

Trouble jumping thru gates now, says I'm not in jump range when I'm sitting at zero on the gate WTF !!!!!!!!!!!!!, FIX PLS
Mouse pointer sticks to the top of screen, you need to bring it back to the spot it got stuck at to bring it back to normal again, FIX PLS

WTF is this? 3rd "Optional Patch" now and the frakking EVE Mail interface is totally screwed.
Cant type decently... cant even link items.
The petition I filed was completely messed up which made my point even clearer as the formatting went ballistic.

Disappearing markers in space.
3rd patch installed. Opening PI in space (from industry window), then docking while PI/planet view is still open. Closing PI in station and then undocking, the markers in space is gone.
Made me think some evil ninja looter/salvager had nicked all my wrecks. Couldn't see the wreck triangles in space. They will appear in the overview though, if set to show.
Markers return by opening PI in space and close it again.

How many optional patches will it take to fix everything? I'm starting to think it may never get fixed for everyone. I myself had only noticed the LP store bug after patch #1 and duplicate overview bug ONCE after patch #2, but others are still finding the client unplayable even after patch #3! I think people need to start posting their specs (cpu, memory, video card) here to help CCP narrow down what UI code is conflicting with specific hardware.
Should they still rollback to 1.05? At this point I would say yes, even if they call it 1.11, as losing the 1 new working feature to fix 20 bugs with old features is the only option to make this right. Everyone knows CCP screwed up, so it doesn't matter if they admit it or not, the best thing is to just move forward and make it right for their customers.

I wouldn't presume to speak for everyone, but I'm sure I'm not alone in requesting a UI rollback.
Fix it (quietly on sisi), TEST IT, ... and only then deploy it onto TQ as a patch.
I have the usual overview problems and occassional window jumping here, but it's just getting embarassing now. Patch on patch on patch... on patch....(repeat ad infinitum?). Meanwhile treating the paying customer base as increasingly disgruntled beta-testers.
If CCP were to be big enough to admit that they made a mistake in biting off too much, I'm sure the player base would understand and appreciate the honesty. [It's not a secret guys, we've guessed already!]
As it is, I've only logged on to change skills recently, and the numbers in local seem low so maybe I'm not alone in doing that. Without a reliable UI to use to play the game, Eve is just a pretty backdrop fronting a database that can be appreciated but not interacted with... hardly a game!

i thin this long thread proofs it, they dont really test anything before launching it to live server.
They dont care really, all we get is nice words in dev blogs, but game just keeps on getting worse and worse shape...
How about stop adding any new features until you actually get old ones working?
How about not putting new features in live server until you stop getting bugreports from test server about that feature and it actually works as intended? Do you even know your bugreport system works? Silence is not proof of high quality you know...
How about actually start reading your user bases feedback?

First 1.1 patch still had issues with disconnects from the audio channel, every 1-2 min i'd get disconnected. With the second 1.1 patch it seemed to have fixed it. I was able to chat with corp mates for half an hour and no disconnect. (as a side point my firewall would pop up with an allow deny request that once I clicked allow seemed to work, but can't confirm if that was the issue or not. I have tried testing with the firewall right off and it didn't make any dif so....)
Now with the third 1.1 patch my audio channel is again useless. I disconnect every minute or so.. and again as a side point I don't have a allow/deny request popping up on my firewall.

The testers reported all of these issues, its not like it was a secret. Whoever is (was? i hope) in charge did not care!!1
CCP - please fire or demote the person responsible for putting this super buggy client into production, they are trying to sabotage your business, and doing a good job, my subscription for example, is suspended because of the 1.1 tyranis 'patch' fiasco.
This is software development 101, you do not release software when you KNOW it has many serious serious problems.
Whoever was in charge for 1.1 tyranis did it anyway.

1. Sometimes brackets die. 2. Alliance Chat makes my other chats unclickable, effectively cutting me out of other conversations. 3. You can, again, select fired missiles.
All these bugs have been reported. You can look to them, submit was made through this char.

In missions at jump gates, if u initiate warp at the jump gate and get stuck and try to stop ship to cancel warp and move out, Stopping ship doesn't cancel the warp
