Originally by: Varda Ain I have just uploaded new patch...but instalation was not...as usual for eve...It downloaded, client restarted...but without actual instalation graphic...i am not sure if it is even working:(
Yes it worked.
As for bugs, I did notice one, new chat windows will open stacked with old ones, but the first chat window you open will still open in the bottom left corner of screen.
Other than that, seems good.

Confirmed, cargohold windows still jumps to corner, no matter if pinned or not.

I have noticed a list of things at bottom of the patch page of what issues were addressed.
oh 1 issue remaining after all (playing and typing at same time LOL) seems the overview window still can not be resized smaller that was something I am sure was able to do before original patch

In station some blues are showing as neutrals - they are still showing as blue in local. No big deal - just a new effect from the patch to fix that patch that was supposed to fix the patch :)

Its a patch - they blew it, they're fixing it. Get over yourselves.
Heck I will save you the time I am in Jita. Good luck though as I never undock so if you think you can gank me through the station walls go for it.
It is every patch that they blow by the way not just this one.....

Patch notes:
http://www.eveonline.com/updates/patchnotes.asp?patchlogID=212
FYI the market window still doesnt automatically show borders between colums when you select an item.
So you have too double click the right or left border of the colum in which it says price.
Not very handy plus isk value isnt in total view untill you double click the border of the colum.
But for the rest, great quick fix CCP

*is forced to login twice yet again to be able to post* (Hint: if you can't even make decent forums, how the hell do you expect to make a decent MMO?)
Well, I logged in and my pinned tabbed windows were amazingly - still pinned and tabbed. I'll be damned.
Shame the LP store info buttons are still non-functional, and most other stuff remains broken. I suppose I should be thankful for small mercies, but all I can think of is how you knew about almost all of these bugs back in testing :-(
Well, at least things are getting slightly better... till the next patch, that is. -- Frog blast the vent core! |

if after deleting it you press space, it corrects it.......not exactly a fix, but a workaround.

Their current business model suggests they they don't need to make it decent as long as they keep adding new features.

I too find that the client remains significantly more laggy than before this series of patches.
However, this latest optional patch does appear to have fixed a few of the many bugs introduced with the first one.

I can sort of understand frustration but this game by FAR is the best dam game in any universe compared with any game including WOW. Big frakking deal if they make some mistakes. You will not find a game that can do what these guys are doing. =My 4th year here and it just keeps getting better and better. So get a grip or go bk to WOW.

Major memory leak, 6ggb 1333 DDR3 GSkill and eve is chewing 85% of it....
Windows all over the place, everytime you login/out or close windows and reopen multiple times they tend to just all stack in the top right corner.
I engaged a vaga other day to notice there was three of him on overview and 2 of the same stargate.

The station window will either allow another window to overlap it or it will be pushed into a corner and will not freely move from that position, short of snagging it just right. A bit of an annoyance, but can be dealt with (for now). |
