Hey folks, I'm looking for a way to export into the EVE .stuff format. Basically I want to go into the files and replace one of the gr2 files. I've entered the EVE create-a-ship contest and have modeled out a ship and would really like to see if I can hack it into the game to take some screenshots to include along with my entry. Extracting from the .stuff format is easy, I've found a ton of tools for that, but I haven't succeeded in finding a way to re-compress it back into a format usable by the game. Anybody know anything about this?
Thanks for any help.

Even when the .stuff format itself is simple in nature, replacing anything is hardly possible - EVE guards itself against modification of it's files. Just take a screenshot and place it on background. -- Thanks CCP for cu |

There is definitely a checksum for the files, otherwise it would not recognize if you have a corrupted installation.
