I noticed when using a link between an extractor and a factory the powergrid need is not a lot. A really long link could cost me 175 at maximum...it's a really long link.
But if I use a gas planet then that same link uses 10 times the amount of powergrid. I aint kidding. Do the test yourselves. For know I only noticed it on a barren and gas planet.
I was wondering if this is a bug, a balance issue or work as intended. if it's work as intended theres a problem with the powergrid need. It needs to be lowered if you ask me.

Look at the length of the link (not how long it looks on the planet, but the actual "km" value) Planets vary in size and so do the length of the links ______________________________ Rock's fine, Nerf paper |

Gas planets are bigger than the rest, therefor links that look the same size on the planets, are actually bigger on a gas one.

Right here was your first mistake.
Unless you precisely measure the extracted output, to make sure it will fill the processor without any leeway, you will be losing materials.
It's is -always- better to route Extractor->Storage(Launchpad preferred)->Processor. Then any excess materials are kept in storage. Routing Extractor->Processor, any extra just disappears wasted.
As for Gas Giant links, it's already been said. They're bigger, so the distances are greater. Thus, they cost more.

Then is it fair to say that Gas planet should have more chance or just more ressources since it's bigger (remember, it's a game here lol).
I'm in 0.0 and the ressource here on planets are... ugly in other words. In some cases, I've seen more ressources in low-sec or even high-sec.

Advanced Planetology says otherwise.
I've got an account with Planetology 3 and an account with Adv Planetology 4. I've looked at 0.0 planets side by side. On one side I see total crap on the other I see small gold mines all over the place.
