Edited by: Borza Slavak on 20/10/2010 15:59:51 Of course not. That was what we did after CVA and their allies drove us from Providence several years ago after all. If recent events were at all similar from our point of view our words and actions would reflect this. I understand that distinct parallels may seem to exist to ill-informed (or outright biased) outsiders, it is to be expected.

Originally by: Merdaneth The history of Ushra'Khan is sad but illustrative of the struggle of the typical unenlightened Matari barbarian:
The barbarian struggles hard and proudly for his freedom, but once he has attained it, he is at a loss at what to do with it. With little to fight against, he forgets what he is fighting for, and fighting in itself becomes a goal rather than a means.
Ushra'Khan helped install a 'tribal' governing system in Providence, a system in which each tribe agreed to freely raid the other tribes as long as they didn't set fire to each others homes or drive them from their land. The other tribes agreed with this not because they agreed, but because the strength of AAA enforced this rule.
However, secretly many of these tribes yearned for a freedom that Ushra Khan wanted to deny them. These tribes did not come to Providence inspired by the principles of the Ushra'Khan. They came to Providence to raid and pillage. Ushra'Khan wanted to deny them their freedom, they desired a system of 'controlled pillaging', but many of the tribes rebelled against the iron fist of AAA and pushed until that fist bent and then finally broke.
Now Ushra'Khan is back to being a wandering tribe of formidable warriors, their tribal governance coming to its expected end. Rulers cannot raid and pillage in one's own territory. Freedom is not a solid foundation for a stable government. Giving every farmer a gun does not improve the size of the harvest.
This is the best summation of the situation I have ever seen.

The thing that hath been, it is that which shall be; and that which is done is that which shall be done: and there is no new thing under the stars.
Is there any thing whereof it may be said, See, this is new? it hath been already of old time, which was before us.
There is no remembrance of former things; neither shall there be any remembrance of things that are to come with those that shall come after.
I the Preacher was a member of the Apostolic Council.
And I gave my heart to seek and search out by wisdom concerning all things that are done under heaven: this sore travail hath God given to the sons of Amarr to be exercised therewith.
I have seen all the works that are done under the stars and, behold, all is vanity and vexation of spirit except that which God hath ordained.
God's will shall be done. Amarr Victor.

This move is a dream come true for me.
We've played a significant role in removing the slavers CVA from Providence and now it is time for us to move on.
Anyone who knows the significance of The Great Wildlands will understand that it will be the ideal home for us old pro-minmatar freedom fighters.

That's less rumour and more slander. Possibly libel, depending on the source.
We are going home.
